So there could be a decent amount of people with it just living their lives like they have a cold. And the mortality rates would be lower.. I'm gonna go with that

It's a vertical learning curve at this stage. One of the driving factors is they now think the incubation period is closer to 20 days, so all these two-week quarantines we were seeing were potentially useless. (Well, not useless, but less effective than anticipated.)

That’s what happened with swine flu. So hopefully the same in this case.

Being that I am 70 and have COPD, if I get a cold I'm asking a doctor or hospital to check me out for corny.

This is very possible. When checking the CDC flu impact numbers for the current season, it didn’t mention if this was factored into their numbers as well. So the Influenza mortality rate may include x number of people we know get it but are never diagnosed because it’s so mild, but the C19 mortality rate is just factoring in known positive test which would definitely make it look more severe.

r/China_Flu is a hell of a read. It’s like every prepper with a bomb shelter finally had a reason to live.

America is full of morons. Also, Corona sucks and almost every other Mexican beer is a better Mexican beer.

Corona is a great "it's hot out, let me smash that water-like beer." Which is the same as Miller or any other light beer.

Our daycare just banned any household who has any family members or anyone that has recently traveled to any country affected effective immediately.

Right on all accounts. Corona is the perfect example of how a good marketing team makes all the difference in the world.

Our company shut offices down in Germany and near Italy yesterday. It's kind of alarming, honestly.

Grupo Modelo, which is owned by Anheuser-Busch InBev. They make Corona, Modelo, Pacifico, Victoria, and Leon.
