Worse than dumb: irresponsible.
I am flabbergasted. "Nah, we're good, I read somewhere that it kinda sucks."

The J&J vaccine is actually 99% but the dummies have been looking at it upside down

It took a while, but we had our first student at my daughter's grade school test positive for Covid this week.

Supposed to be opening up more heinz field slots here for 3/8 and 3/9. But they're not saying what time they're opening up appointments.

**** is so frustrating. Just allow us to go on a list and when we're up, call us.

I appreciate and thank Los Doyers for making Dodger Stadium available as a mass vaccination site, but in terms of accessibility Elysian Park might as well be an island 10 miles offshore with no harbor facilities. It's just about the worst place to try to get in and out of when there are a large number of people trying to do the same thing.

You're probably going to have more luck trying for a Rite Aid slot. They seem to open up around midnight. This is a pretty good guide:

Also, UPMC did recently create a "wait list" where you can sign up and be notified when there is availability. There are a few on reddit who have had luck through this site.

All of these problems would go away if you could just, you know, schedule yourself an appointment regardless of pre-qualifying conditions/tiers. It would be a capacity problem, not really a logistical one.

Yeah it's sucks but it's doable. I've secured four appointments in two nights for 1A family members using that method. There were plenty of appointments available around ten after midnight.

Just canceled my Rite Aid appointment because I got in sooner at a mega site in Jersey. You really have to be quick for Rite Aid. Even when you find a spot, it’s not like concert tickets that give you two minutes to complete the form, that slot is open to anyone who can finish the form fastest.

well my grandmother has found the worst possible hospital known to man. Obviously none of us are allowed in, you know, despite the fact that almost all of us are vaxxed, including her. The doctor wont give us anymore information because he's already talked "to two people" and naturally my mother wasn't one of them. We had to send her flowers with a card on it that had our phone numbers and a note to answer her room phone, because to actually GET information on her well being, we needed a secret code that she had to provide to us. Absolutely pathetic.

Now that my rant's over, from what we know she is stable but we have no knowledge of the specific treatment plan... what they're doing, if anything, no testing, all we know are 'labs' coming tomorrow and she's on 'several meds'.

Vaccinated or almost vaccinated folks: when you’re two weeks past your second dose are you all systems go? Restaurants, bars, hang outs?

What's the current stage of 5AF debate regarding [Pfizer/Moderna] vs. J&J? (We apparently have a choice between the two (with Pfizer/Moderna more likely to be Pfizer because that's what's primarily shipped here) ! )

I think the point is you shouldn't have to be up at 12:10am to try to get an appointment. It shouldn't take that kind of effort.

If you're an AHN patient you should be able to schedule through MyChart throughout the day.

Today they administered 6,000 shots at the Dick's headquarters and all of the hospitals also have a daily clinic.

I believe the Dick's mass vaccination clinic is every Friday for the foreseeable future.
