Not if that herd immunity threshold is 10-30% as that article states. You might have regional outbreaks where that level wasn't hit, but based on several models the USA is already around 13% infected. So our densely populated areas have already been hit hard.

My guess is this week we peak again on deaths. Hospitalizations across the county peaked over a week ago and have been falling steadily.

I dont see how there isnt another outbreak or at least a swell once schools and colleges start
Yup. Inevitable, really. Might not be as bad since our first wave was pretty bad, but school is going to spread this thing even worse. Just the nature of things.
Best we can hope for is that its another one of those 4-6 week growth phases that doesnt get quite as high as this last one.

Nice. :fist:

Honestly, it has felt like a normal cold/sinus infection so far. It's been 5 days. Hopefully that is the worst it gets.

Staying in my basement. Got my monitors for work set up down there, TV, bathroom, fridge, etc. It's a finished basement.

Oh man. So sorry to hear that. It's crazy how this hits people differently. If mine stays as is, it's not too bad. But I've heard stories where you feel fine, then it gets worse.

Thanks. It is crazy. Our whole family got hit with "summer colds" this past week. It's weird what your mind thinks of now when something like this comes through

Honestly, mine feels like a "summer cold" overall, and I got tested just in case, and it ended up positive. Just crazy. I don't know how things are going to go this fall/winter, when everyone is getting colds/flu mixed in with COVID.

Thanks all. The combo of being older, in Florida and not taking quarantine seriously wasn't the best path, but what are you going to do?
