Shmenguin... is your mask moist?
is this a meme? i'm unfamiliar.

it is, though. i make a weird face when I'm breathing to avoid fogging up my glasses. it involves puckering my lips against the mask. it gets sloppy.

It's a grunty meme... he was an undercover anti-masker.

please. he's grafiti. there's no engaging with that. if he, NP or Guiness come back, they can say what they like, but they're on their own.

Given the stakes of the tradeoff, I can't imagine being the slightest bit put off or annoyed by wearing a mask.

I can see without my glasses and almost never wear them both at the same time, so I can empathize a bit on that point.

the fogging of glasses with a mask is a bit annoying, but once I got a mask that had the wire part that bent around my nose it hasn't happened much. I can't see **** without my glasses so I have no choice but to wear them along with my mask.

I only have an Rx for one eye, so I *could* rock a monocle. Maybe when I get a few more years of lawyering under my belt.

I don't wear prescription glasses, but have to wear safety glasses at work when in the shop. When I'm in the engineering lab, I've just taken the safety glasses off, but kept the mask on. Even with the flexible metal in the mask to bend over the nose, it makes too good of a seal that it's more difficult to breathe.

my biggest issue with masks is that I can't hear amazingly well and it is a lot harder for me to hear what people are saying with masks on

I saw that video a few weeks ago... I am largely a homebody. I don't go to the bar with friends, I don't go to sporting events (at least not without my wife), I think the only things I did before covid that got nixed were travel for work, indoor soccer, and taking my kid to the library.

I only discovered them when they did their 5 Stages of Peloton video which was hysterical because it is 100% true.
