The "all eligible residents" being the kicker there.
Of course our slave labor class is not included in that number.

Yeah the booster was leaps and bounds worse than my first two. PPM gang got wrecked (not saying you are)Might be worse than last time. I'm getting chills, but then I put on warm clothing and now I'm too hot.
This sucks.

I think I'll do the PPP if I have a choice. From reading here, the moderna mutants seem to be suffering more.I'd give the chills and aches a 2/10, 21 hours into it. Not bad yet. Outside of this board virtually everyone I know with a booster said the side effects were very minimal

I just think, man… we know the mutations on the spike protein which means we already know the mRNA code for the cells in our body to produce the new spike protein. Just upload the new sequence and get that vaccine out there. I know it’s not that simple from a regulatory stand point, but it’s pretty darn close to that simple from a vaccine development standpoint.
I should work for them… lol

In order of feeling sick after the Moderns shots:
1st shot: mostly felt fine other than waking up with the chills the night after
3rd shot: felt like a minor head cold with a slight headache and mild aches and pains. Woke up with the shakes the night 24 hrs after getting the shot, but felt fine the next day. I made sure to be extra hydrated during the day before getting the shot and again afterwards.
2nd shot: far and away the worst of the three. Felt like a bad case of the flu with fever, chills, aches and pains, headache, and extreme lethargy. Spent most of the day in bed and sleeping.

I’m down with PPP and the booster was on par with my second shot. Mostly just body aches.Yeah the booster was leaps and bounds worse than my first two. PPM gang got wrecked (not saying you are)Might be worse than last time. I'm getting chills, but then I put on warm clothing and now I'm too hot.

my ranking including a pain scale (from easiest to most painful)
first shot - 2/10 pain - just a dead arm
third shot - 4.5/10 - some body aches but nothing awful
second shot - 8/10 - had a fever and generally felt pretty crappy

That said, the plan for both my wife and I was to go back into the office in some capacity after the new year. Honestly wonder if that's in jeopardy. Time will tell.

I think the delta surge has pretty much pushed the majority of the country into the “I don’t care about the pandemic anymore.” category. I know a lot of people were already there, but now it seems more and more are ready to just move on and forget about it. Just let it do its thing.
We’re approaching 800k dead from this thing. Just a crazy number to think about and most in the know seem to think this thing isn’t going anywhere anytime soon. It’ll stick around. At some point everyone (well, close to everyone) will move into the “let’s move on” phase. I’m not anywhere close to there yet, but it’ll happen soon enough.

I saw this one shared on Reddit:
I just… I don’t get it. Like what point did she think she was making?
