COVID-19

We have a little bit of a loophole in CA re 'little white lies' on the booster questions. Since we're still in county-wide lockdowns, technically the County itself has determined that everyone is at elevated risk of COVID, regardless of employment of health factors.

COVID-19

My wife's school district asked their employees if they were interested in a booster shot clinic, as they had with shots 1 & 2 in March and April. There wasn't enough interest to have a clinic. Typical. (She got it at CVS on her own).
We had one today. You could get any of the 3 boosters, first dose, or a flu shot. I was surprised at the number of people lined up to get one.

asking for a 37 year old friend with no preexisting conditions who was fully vaccinated the first week of May. If this friend struts into the local Rite Aid this evening and asks for a booster, can they get one even if they do not have prexisiting conditions
Rite Aid I went to has walk ins from 2-3. You could probably make an appointment online and I doubt they ask any questions.

You don’t need any loopholes to get a booster. Just walk in with your sleeve rolled up and they blow dart you.

There's no reason to not get the Moderna booster, unless you're just a brain dead, brand loyal dumb dumb.

wasn’t there evidence that mix and matching with the booster was the most effective? aka if your first two doses were hot dog water, Moderna was the better booster choice

If moderna for 1 and 2, Pfizer gives you biggest antibody boost (10x moderna, 11x Pfizer)

If Pfizer for 1 and 2, moderna gives 32x, Pfizer 20x boost

If j&j, moderna gives 76x, Pfizer gives 35x boosts.

J&j in last for all 3.

Was that study done with the full immunocompromised booster dose for Moderna or the half dose that everybody else gets?

I would say there isn't a significant difference such that you should inconvenience yourself tracking one down over the other, but if given the option follow what Mr infinity first name count2 shared
