COVID-19
Our local hospital published some info on the current COVD situation on their facebook page. Essentially, how many patients, age ranges, how many are in ICU, etc. They also published the number vaccinated vs the number that isn't. The comment section is as expected, but one in particular cracked me up...
"Give them the Remsdenvir. That should help."
Yeah, Dawn... they have never heard of that medication. Thank god for you!!! They clearly, more than a year and a half into this sh*t, have zero idea how to treat these people.

*that doesn't mean I wish them dead
These people really are too stupid to live*.Like the monoclonal antibodies, antiviral pills would be no substitute for vaccination, said Griffin. They would be another tool to fight covid. "It's nice to have another option," he said.
One challenge in developing antiviral drugs quickly has been recruiting enough participants for the clinical trials, each of which needs to enroll many hundreds of people, said Dr. Elizabeth Duke, a Fred Hutch research associate overseeing its molnupiravir trial.
Participants must be unvaccinated and enrolled in the trial within five days of a positive covid test. Any given day, interns make 100 calls to newly covid-positive people in the Seattle area — and most say no.
"Just generally speaking, there's a lot of mistrust about the scientific process," Duke said. "And some of the people are saying kind of nasty things to the interns."

What a terrible job that must be... calling people that are unvaccinated (now... not 10 months ago... now), just tested positive for Covid, and try to convince them to join a study. Good f*cking luck...

The Y-Axis is dumb. If they didn't make that part confusing, the graph is fine. You guys are funny... they don't know how to read a graph whether it's properly formatted or not.

There's nothing fine about it. Our brains are programmed for positivity to be upwards and right.
Also, i for one am extremely thankful there's an infographic to show us that there is a political alignment factor impacting vaccination status. I would have had no idea.

These signs have been popping up in our area
I mean…. All you can sort of read is the wake up part.
At $25 a pop I don’t really see many more sprouting.

I’m not a hardcore masker but I can almost guarantee that anyone who would put that in their yard isn’t vaxed.
