That they do. The theory here is that a greater percentage of vax-hesitant folks also don’t mind playing loose with other people’s well being than those who did the bare minimum of their civic duty and got the shot.

I think it's weird how there's "not playing sides" but you're bringing up minority vaccination rates all the time. As schemguin said, they're all idiots, and not getting vaccinated.

There's no gotcha there, where we live in this area, the populus of unvaccinated are spreadnecks, and the majority of stuff you hear on the news is spreadneck related because they're easily the most vocal and proud about being a said spreadneck.

The minority stuff is exhibit A, of spreadnecks saying "don't look at us being idiots, look at those different skin color idiots!"

Hmm, that's a really good point, Morkle. When I'm commenting I'm mostly referencing the overall unvaxxed population nation-wide (Bidens 80MM or whatever), not the different populations in close proximity to individual posters in this thread. That would tend to add a much different perspective, for sure. I still don't want them to suffer and/or die, but it does explain some of the...passion...and I can appreciate the difference.

I do hope that you're not implying that I'm attempting the inject some sort of racist undertones just because I mention race as a factor. Among the unvaxxed, race is a factor. So is age. So is political affiliation.So is education level. So is income level. Nationwide, it's not just MAGA asshats, though they are by far the most obnoxious. It's a lot of different groups of people. Different backgrounds. Different reasons. That's all I'm trying to say, and why I don't wish the worst for all of them.

The proximity point is well received, though, and honestly adds a lot insight. It also helps explain some of the political shizzle showing up in this thread from certain people. It's what is closest to them personally. Still kinda funny, though.

It's nice to see overall nationwide covid numbers in decline, but it's likely to be offset soon by increasing numbers in places like PA. Hopefully this is the worst of it and we too start coming down in the next week or so.
