I mean we are talking about a nation that's currently genociding and sterilizing an entire people group.I think I'd be comfortable assuming 5 figures, but not 6 - and only because they seemed to start their heavy-handed approach very quickly. But if we find out it's truly 6 figures, I wouldn't question it.I won't argue their death total is probably less and probably significantly less than US. But I'd be shocked if it wasn't 6 figures.I doubt we'll ever know, but they also went into crazy lockdowns. Chaining apartment doors closed, every single person wearing masks, etc. I'd still bet that they have fewer deaths than we do because of the mask wearing alone.
I wonder how many people the Chinese government suicided to stop spread...

Is that for all the people here who like the Chinese government?

I don't know why anyone would question the Chinese death toll... it's not like they didn't already have the antivirals and vaccine developed for this or something.I mean we are talking about a nation that's currently genociding and sterilizing an entire people group.I think I'd be comfortable assuming 5 figures, but not 6 - and only because they seemed to start their heavy-handed approach very quickly. Just had a really awesome moment with one of the guys from the manufacturing floor... he said he's considering getting the vaccine but he wanted to ask me some questions before picking one and getting one. Essentially just wanted to know how they work, which one is most effective, side effect possibilities, so on and so forth. He said "I know you aren't going to bullsh*t me."
After we chatted he said "Alright, well...Sam's Club is giving out J&J vaccines. I'm heading there right now." I've done my good deed for the day.

Americans of Asian descent shouldn’t have to deal with fallout from “Kung flu” and “China virus”. Therefore I support the attempted genocide of Chinese Muslims, and China’s whole vibe in general. Pretty simple.Literally nobody ITT isn't questioning their numbers.

That's one of the biggies I was considering. He's a very charismatic guy and seen as a leader by everyone on the manufacturing floor. He's very influential.Maybe he'll get some others on board.

Just got back from grocery shopping. Giant no longer requires a mask if you’re vaccinated. Already had mine on, so I just kept it on and finished my shopping. Next trip will be maskless, though.

Ross Park Mall still has signs up saying masks required so we kept ours on. I’d say maybe less than 5% of people were maskless. They also had quite the indignant look on their faces waiting for somebody to say something to them.

I’d say about 75% of the people in the store wore masks. That number is probably closer to 99% for everyone over 60 or so.
I did see one person without a mask that I’d bet my paycheck isn’t vaccinated, though HEP is probably higher on their requirement list.

I was at a track meet on Wednesday and masks were few and far between. Athletes, officials, concession stand workers, etc. Maybe 5% of people were masked. I would estimate that only maybe 30-40% of people there were vaccinated. Not too concerning since everyone was outside, but I was expecting at least he officials to be masked.

Our high school baseball team forfeited the state tournament game because one player tested positive, and too many of his teammates had to go into quarantine. Just a few more weeks of caution and masks, and they would’ve at least played a few games…but nope, they just couldn’t do it.

The one out by Longwood Gardens? That's one of the nicer Walmarts I've been toWalmart in Chester county
About 1/3rd unmasked. Good to see. I kept mine on only because I think I’m gonna do it out of solidarity with my kids when we’re out together

That’s why I keep telling my kids to wear their masks. I’m not very worried about them getting it or spreading it (the rest of the family is vaxed), it’s the quarantine that goes along with being around somebody who test positive. Our high school baseball team forfeited the state tournament game because one player tested positive, and too many of his teammates had to go into quarantine.
