Listen here, chubbies. There are donuts at the back. Go. To. The. Back. All we have at the front are salads.

There was a Rite Aid listed on one of those maps as nearby and it had a link that took you to a countdown page indicating where you were in the queue to get on the website. It took about a half an hour wait and then I was in. Entered in my zip code and it told me there wasn't a vaccine site within 50 miles of me.
Jesus, there was an hour and a half timer just for people waiting to actually schedule a vaccine?

maybe I’m misinterpreting that but that sounds insane
Half an hour. 30 minutes. It "rang" when it was my turn.

Giant Iggle's website is open for vaccine appointments, but is showing no available appointments within 15 miles of Somerset. Or, so far as I can tell, anywhere. Maybe still rolling out the site?

Part of health care workers. One of the ones people would be pissed about. Not my fault though!

None of the places near me have any useful information on how to to get it or schedule it. Shitty job by these companies. It's not like they haven' had almost a year to get their plans together.
Anecdotally Most of the constraints that are occurring now are due to the actual supply of vaccine through state and federal gov. Most locations are ready to go, it’s unclear what volume of vaccine will be available and also ensuring adequate supply for 2nd dose administration. Choo choo hot mess express coming through

But, surely, getting a queueing system online could have been achieved by now, right?

Nothing showing for Pittsburgh at all yet. They may be waiting for the Giant Eagles to actually have vaccine in hand before taking appointments. I'll be checking daily.

If memory serves, KC had covid recently and they asked that people who had it recently and work in healthcare hold off...

They said within 30 days according to my man meow. It sounds like its only available to people like me and NTP66 because the allotment to patient facing hospital workers was not used due to poor adherence. So they move down the list. My team does ordinarily go into SNFs... but only remote during COVID.

I did read that the vaccine may have helped some people with post covid issues (on reddit so it might not actually be true...) and considering I'm on week 8 of feeling like trash I have no problem being selfish.

No, but it comes prepackaged with an STD.

Which STD? One of those elementary school ones like chlamydia?
