Have data to back up your claim?
Like that article written by an economist turned quack self-help author who encouraged pregnant women that it's OK to drink alcohol?
Better than your nothing statement. It posts actual data. Want to argue the data? Looks like you are just attacking the messenger.

We trust whoever is saying what we want to hear. Didn’t you get that memo?
Just posting the information from the source that I believe a majority of you trust.

I've been shopping a little more often that I had been before, and I'm also getting takeout food more often. I haven't been in any dine-in restaurants yet, and I still don't feel comfortable about that. I'm also still cutting my own hair. I feel bad about that; I've been going to the same barber for more than 20 years. But he's located in Oakland and most of his clientele is health-care workers and college students.

This Is pointing towards ptsd as the cause since similar things have happened with SARs and MERs.

Except the data you want to use is for K-12 attending in-person classes, not high school sports.

I don't have data, but here's one example. Like the data you presented, it also shows that masked kids in well regulated classes seem fairly safe. Kids running around, breathing heavy, yelling, etc. without masks, not so much.
Erie County Department of Health staff were too busy contact tracing new cases to determine how many of the county's 89 COVID-19 cases reported since Thursday are due to sporting events and social gatherings connected to high school and club sports, Erie County Executive Kathy Dahlkemper said.

But Dahlkemper said there is no doubt these activities are playing a significant role in the surge.

"We are seeing clusters of cases around individuals who are coaching, attending and playing school and club sports," Dahlkemper said. "It's not one, specific event."

McDowell High School and McDowell Intermediate High School have postponed all sports and in-person classes until Monday due to COVID-19 cases. Mercyhurst Preparatory School halted girls volleyball for almost two weeks due to a case, and Fort LeBoeuf Middle School stopped in-person classes for several days last week after several cases were reported.
The good news is that few, if any, cases in the county are being transmitted during school classes. "I haven't heard of any cases and I want to give kudos for the compliance of all the schools," Dahlkemper said. "They are doing a phenomenal job."

We’ve been doing soccer more or less constantly since Labor Day. Both kids practice every night. Games are social distanced and masked. Compliance pretty good except the family that sits there maskless in their MAGA hats. I sit in the pressbox, since it is just the AD, scoreboard op and me we remove masks.

Club soccer is more difficult. Compliance pretty good for our club but on the road it varies. PA West Soccer mandates mask isage among other precautions. Every time I remind folks about the rules one parent emails me and lectures me about freedom and how teaching children about their rights is more important than soccer. Dude I’m just trying to run a soccer club here not the alliance for mask freedom.

Pursuant to WK’s story above Mill reek Soccer Assn was also closed for 2 weeks. Coach with COVID attended the McDowell Senior Night apparently, which ties in to their closure.

So actual study that gets the rate of infection in all of schools (which I believe would also include the sports since they are a part of the school) compared to this person's gut feeling?

Straw man much? My original post that you responded to referred specifically to high school sports, not "the rate of infection in all of schools."

Your post was a county executive saying “well... we didn’t actually trace them but my gut says it was.”

She gives the briefings for the county health department. She sees the cases, It's not her just sitting at home in her basement coming up with that. :face:

Your article literally says they didn’t trace the contacts to connect it to sports except she believes it to be so. So please stop. You have proven nothing except for being annoying.

Oh I know why I am attacked. I am aggressive and challenge people to stand up for their opinions. A lot of people don’t like to be challenged.
