They die less when they get covid than when they get the flu.Nah, because according to one of my neighbors, all kids will be just fine if they get it, "look it up".

Same with ours. We kept her home a couple times where we probably wouldn't have before... we got an e-mails saying the fall pictures and fundraiser were canceled because they'd have to break their COVID protocols to do them. They also mentioned they don't have any kids or staff that have tested positive. They also said that if they do get any positive cases we'll be notified.Cold season is here and our daycare is just auto declining kids if they're sick. My son was one of them. Started snotting throughout the day and they had us pick him up mid-afternoon.
Kind of lame, but I get it.

Our daughter has had a runny nose for a week and a half, but daycare hasn't sent her home. She either got it from daycare, or is teething. No fever, so I really have no issues sending her. It's a daycare cold, not covid.

Kind of how I feel. No temp or anything like that, as far as we can tell it's just a runny nose and sneezes. Clemson had 18K (Memorial Stadium seats 82K) for The Citadel last weekend, which was lower than expected. I guess the opponent factors into that, obviously. All students had to show they'd had a recent test to get a ticket, too.

I'm surprised they admitted it.

Smart move and makes sense, will feel weird though.

I don't mind being in spaces with people (not related to this thread), but that seems like a crowd that would be too much for me to really feel comfortable or at least enjoy myself...
I'd be curious to know a bit about the experience if you wanted to share, NTP...if you don't want to re-live it, I understand haha

Imagine being sandwiched between millions of people with nowhere to turn, all yelling, and no easy access to a urinal. If I were forced to go to Times Square again, I'd pay for one of the hotel rooms right there, because those people were the smart ones.Source of the post I'd be curious to know a bit about the experience if you wanted to share, NTP...if you don't want to re-live it, I understand haha
