COVID-19
Oh trust me, we definitely don't want it again. We were lucky this time. It wasn't too bad and we actually all got along pretty much being in doors together for 3 weeks.Glad that you've recovered but try not to get it again NAN.
We are still going to follow every guideline.

COVID-19
Sounds like because the person developed an immune response quickly, that this is actually kind of good news. Bad news for the herd immunity crowd though.

Reading that, it sounds like he picked up a different strain of it in Europe than what is floating around in Asia, and to your point, developed an immune response more quickly. Which to your point is good news, I think??? Someone smarter than me should confirm that.Sounds like because the person developed an immune response quickly, that this is actually kind of good news. Also interesting in that article is the whole thing about your body shedding pieces of the virus that could still result in a positive test even though the virus is not active. The doctor told me about that when we got retested this past weekend. She said not to be surprised if my test came back positive even if I felt fine, due to that reason. And that is one reason why they are saying people should be fine to exit quarantine after X days and not have to get retested.

Same here; we've had pretty solid compliance with the mask stuff the whole time, and I think since March I've only had one in-store encounter with an anti-masker (who was wearing a political t-shirt, I won't get specific as to the message, but I probably don't have to for the message to come across). There was a crazy lady at the grocery store back in late May or early June who was ranting in the parking lot and got herself punched in the face, but that was outside so I don't count it.It's still 100% in my area at the grocery store, Target, Petsmart, HD/Lowe's.
That said, I'm noticing an uptick in the percentage of wearers who aren't covering their noses with the mask.

At church Sunday (social distanced, limited capacity, masks mandatory) everybody on stage in the band had there's under their nose. Then you should be all warmed up for the stranger. Wait.PS - the test we took was a throat swab, like a strep test. I didn't know that was an option.

I assume if you can't figure out how to wear the mask over your nose, you're likely a mouth breather anyways.

COVID-19
I remember hearing eye as well - one symptom was unilateral eye irritationI saw an article this weekend that said that they think primary infection may actually be the nose, going off the loss a smell symptom. So that would check out.

They don't have FREE and EQUAL access to all facilities and services. The facilities and services must make reasonable accommodations. Who determines what's "reasonable"? The facilities and/or services... so if they want you to do curb side pick-up or televisits or order online and have it delivered, those are accommodations that you are stuck with as an anti-masker. Deal with it.

The size of it reminded me of this:You know it's real because it's in a lanyard.

This is the same thing people tried to get away with using false things under the ADA awhile back. They don't have FREE and EQUAL access to all facilities and services.
