102 days of no cases now 4 with no known travel or anything. Looks like the virus is going to virus.

School District announced their plans.
NO social distancing, they may be able to get three ft of separation between kids but won't guarantee it.

Current theory is a mask and bleach is apparently all you need.

If only we had a ton of research behind distancing, masks, and cleaning so we wouldn't have to rely on school district theories.

Sidenote: can we do something about the reddit embed autoplays?

Quite a thing that it's going to take a child catching COVID at school and dying to change course on this.

Might go without saying, but you're gonna need the concentrated form of bleach if you're gonna kill call those kids effectively and efficiently...the store-brand bleach just isn't concentrated quite enough to do the job...so, hopefully they thought ahead there...

Our principal said we’re using a “rotary system” for kids to enter and exit classrooms that are in pods of four (two classes directly across from two others). The diameter of said rotary is about 7 feet.

They were fined $1,000. That'll stop em.

Also, those people look to be on the "high risk" side of things...

Our school district just moved away from full time face to face yesterday. Now it's online or a hybrid of the two. I imagine that's changing to all online soon.

We just got a 35 page manual for how athletics in college will workout. Basically it's going to be a disaster and I'll probably be better off if they keep me furloughed.

And that's why I can't go to the Indy 500...Nobody follows any of the rules.
Yes, we are racing this Saturday and going forward. After clarifying a few things with the health department, masks/face coverings are required on all of the Speedrome property. We will also need to follow social distancing. Thank you for supporting the Indianapolis Speedrome.
:face:
After discussing it with the health department? Like you didn't know there were restrictions in place?

Here’s the state recommended metrics for determining how to reopen schools. Looks like most counties in the state fall into the moderate category which means a hybrid system of alternating days. Not sure why this wasn’t released sooner to give districts more guidance while they were developing their plans.

Imagine punching a kid at a Sesame Street theme park because they asked you to wear a mask.

Investigators said they were last seen driving away in a vehicle registered in New York.
As a former park worker that dealt with the public, this checks out.
