My anti-vaxer solution is simple. Give police dart guns with the vaccine and let them continue doing what they’ve been doing - shooting people.

This is peak anti-mask non-sense...

-She has zero business in there other than "accompanying her boyfriend".
-There's a sign on the door saying no electronics allowed in the building.
-"They're going to call the cops, do you want to go through that again?" says the boyfriend... AGAIN?!?!
-She's not even trying to say she has a medical condition, she just wants to be seen not wearing a mask and get the attention she's craving.
-"You can't record in here" "I'm recording myself" *immediately turns the camera to the guy that just said she can't record
- Ohio

Just an awful human being.

I just found her facebook (it's not hard to find)... good lord, this woman. As you can imagine her profile pic is Trump hugging an American flag, she has links about how HCQ is the solution to COVID, and of course she's attended all lives matter gatherings.

Maybe freedom of speech isn't such a good thing...
I'm kidding, of course it is.

I'd recommend no fans at sporting events except for parents who will socially distance in the stands if possible. No sports at all? Well, I think that's a bit much, but we'll see what the PIAA does.

I guess the thought is that, if you do have a school that is doing all of the mitigation correctly and they play sports against a school that isn't, you're now just spreading it everywhere.

I feel like the MLB has largely shown that sports can't really be doable unless the players are in a bubble, and you can't really keep students in a bubble.

Hah, I'd like to punch her just for her accent and the way she says things. Boyfriend probably puts up with her for one reason only, you can guess what that is.

My PA license expires later this month. I renewed it online and they are sending the new license through the mail with my previous picture. Thank you jeebus I don't have to bother with the DMV. Hopefully they keep this (at least as an option) for future years.

I think part of it is a resource issue, too. They've had to bring in additional custodial staff just to sanitize the school every night (if they are returning in person). Are they then going to use those resources to sanitize the stadium after a Thursday soccer game to have it ready for Friday Night Lights, then again after that for JV Whatever at noon on Saturday?

I do think canceling all school sports till January is a little harsh but I get limiting spectators. Sucks because it's my kid's senior soccer season.

There's a chance the current spike in daily new deaths in the country has peaked so that's good news. The bad news it's 1100 a day. The good news is it was 2200 a day back in April.

We’ve been having football workouts for the last three weeks. Even with all the protocols in place, it still makes me uncomfortable seeing the kids close together. If one kid gets it, they’ll all have it and spread it to others in the school.

Protocols are fine if followed. The non school affiliated youth sports practices I've seen have been spotty.

As club president if I have to deal with someone like the woman upthread about wearing her mask- either I quit or I shut the season down. Ain't dealing with that for a volunteer job.
