I’m not a fan of organized religion but I was raised with the church, was an alter boy, all that good stuff. I understand ones connection to the church (the act of believing as well as the building itself). I have no issue with anybody who goes to church. That said, if it isn’t safe to have gatherings of 25 or more, then it isn’t safe for a church to have services either.Maybe people get more out of being present in an actual place of worship?Maybe someday god will allow everyone to pray to him from places outside of a church.
My parents church went totally virtual for a while. When church services were allowed to reopen, they stopped that. They are also both in a high risk category, as many who go to church are. So now they have to decide between their health and worshipping in the church, and I know they have a lot of guilt about it.
