No clue as the county/state doesn't release that info. That doesn't change the fact that hospitalizations are rising. How many discharged in that same time period though?Yeah hospitalizations are clearly rising. That makes 30 for the past week. And according to everybody's favorite redditor, the last time we have 30 in a week was 5/15-5/21.7 new hospitalizations is somewhat alarming

We have no clue if hospitalizations are rising.
Would be nice if they reported newly admitted, newly discharged, and deceased. Wouldn't mind length of stay data. Without all of that, all we see is 30 people in the door in a week and think "oh crap"

Sure. But are the hospital stays as long as before? That is something that needs reported. No clue as the county/state doesn't release that info. Sure we do. We have more people going into the hospital now than were a few weeks ago. The county/state has never reported length of stay stats. They do, however, report ICU usage, and as far as I know we have not seen any significant increase there. We have no clue if hospitalizations are rising.

Aside from that false claim, the notion that schools could just naturally implement the measures hospitals take to keep people safe is a frightening level of ignorance from someone in that position.Health care workers aren't getting infected? As of yesterday, ACHD reported that 11% of cases in the county were healthcare workers.

anecdotally, many of the healthcare workers that are becoming sick are community acquired - not from taking care of patientsAside from that false claim, the notion that schools could just naturally implement the measures hospitals take to keep people safe is a frightening level of ignorance from someone in that position.Health care workers aren't getting infected? Right, the part of that comment I was flippant about is the "if hospitals can do it, why can't schools" proposition.

It's not just the stupidity of thinking schools can implement the same mitigation measures as hospitals, it's founded in the notion that the only mitigation measures at a hospital are masks and 6' of separation.Aside from that false claim, the notion that schools could just naturally implement the measures hospitals take to keep people safe is a frightening level of ignorance from someone in that position.Health care workers aren't getting infected? My guess is they're going to announce the continuation of the bar/restaurant closures. My hunch would be they're going to announce these week-by-week but who knows. I picked up take-out over the weekend and the owner of the restaurant said rumor was it would be a month-long closure.
