COVID-19
Four new cases in Somerset county. Doesn't sound like much, but there were 42 total before today. Next week I have to photograph a dance studio. Three days indoors with 50+ kids and 50+ dance moms. Not going to lie, I'm a little freaked out.

Heat only matters if we're talking about coronavirus sitting on a surface. It could be 200° outside, and if somebody yells and droplets make their way to your face and into your eyes and whatnot, guess what? You're now sick.
COVID-19
Good point but didn't it get into the building from the outside where it is hot?So apparently heat does not affect Covid at all. Only bright thing I see is the deaths still trending down.AZ too.Another record number of positives in Florida today, at 3800 or so. Yikes.
Or it means that the virus was spread indoors due to the necessity of AC in Arizona.
COVID-19
It would've been spread by someone who had it and breathed without a mask, which would've released the virus into the air in their breath droplets, which would then be spread by the AC.
It doesnt just wander in out of nowhere.

Heat/humidity does affect how far the droplets can spread, I believe (more humidity = droplets fall faster) but I think the effect is rather negligible if people are within 6 feet.

Also, crazy that California just instituted their masks in public requirement. PA luckily started that pretty early on.
well, crap. Those who contract the novel coronavirus and recover may only have protective antibodies for a few months following a COVID-19 infection, according to a study published this week.

Yeah that’s not great. I’m assuming that also negates the antibody vaccine strategy.https://www.foxnews.com/health/coronavi ... tion-study

Republicans once again showing that private industry should set the tone by failing to do so themselves...Apple re-closing stores in Florida and Arizona

Was joke. We've discussed previously how GOP will at times try to prove government doesn't work by (seemingly) actively sabotaging it.

DeSantis said today a high percentage of new cases in FL are those in the younger age group and hospitalizations do not seem to be growing at an alarming rate. Hopefully these increases in some areas are the result of the lower risk population being out and about and higher risk individuals staying protected.
It may be too early to tell if DeSantis statement on hospitalizations is true since it takes some time between infection and hospitalization.

Oklahoma cases are surging right now, but so far hospitalizations are not. At our height of hospitalizations we were over 400 hospitalized. We are at 200 right now, up 50 from Memorial Day weekend.DeSantis said today a high percentage of new cases in FL are those in the younger age group and hospitalizations do not seem to be growing at an alarming rate. I honestly don't understand why the paper products aisle of my local Publix still looks like this in mid June:

This is misleading, no? Antibodies don’t last forever for just about anything, but your body still remembers how to fight the virus and can make new antibodies when needed.https://www.foxnews.com/health/coronavi ... tion-study

I believe this is true. The immune system keeps the production blueprint in the filing cabinet and gets the factory running again if needed. This is misleading, no? This is a wee bit misleading. It has been required at the county level in nearly all of the most populous counties since mid May, and every single business I've entered since April has required face coverings (I've seen people refused service for non-compliance). The only places that hadn't been observing this practice for at least the last month are........ well, you can probably guess where. Also, crazy that California just instituted their masks in public requirement. I was in mine last Sunday and that aisle was the best that I'd seen it since all this mess started and even then, it was maybe at about 40%. Yet the Publix I went into at Jax Beach last week had plenty of paper products.

Yeah, I can’t get TP, paper towels, or disinfectant wipes on a regular basis from local stores here.
Another record number of cases, but with this warning from the health department: positive cases are up 416% percent since April 4th in 20-30 year olds, and up 900% in ages 11-19 during that same time period. Hospitals aren’t full, but the numbers of hospitalized are creeping up.
