That's the same takeaway I had, MR.

April: Virus will be back during the traditional respiratory infection season; how we respond will determine the severity of the outbreak.

May: Virus will be back during the traditional respiratory infection season; how we respond will determine the severity of the outbreak.

Just to clarify, I saw it as

April: We will have a second wave if we do not respond correctly

May: We will not have a second wave if we continue to respond in the proper ways.

At the end of the day, the message is still the same, just the wording changed. Our reaction and response up to now dictated how far away the potential 2nd wave was. Our actions and response going forward will dictate whether or not we see a true 2nd wave or just local clusters.

Who really cares? Regardless of the exact intent, what Fauci said was nothing more than a platitude no different than "get to our game" or the "standard is the standard." How we behave may will have an impact on future outcomes? Well la de freakin da.

Note: I like Fauci but to argue over this, even by petty Grunty vs. the world standards, is silly.

Having gone to WDW many times during hot summer months, I can tell you that wearing a mask in that heat and humidity is going to be awful. Best of luck, folks.

Yeah, but limited capacity? Sign me up for that.
No fireworks or parades are the bigger strike than a mask

You mean Galaxy's Edge will only be 25% of the normal visitor capacity?

I'll take two.

I don't think they've announced just how reduced the capacity will be. I still think an entire day in the Florida sun while wearing a mask would be really difficult. Definitely necessary, but you're going to see a lot of people struggling or removing masks.

Yea, let me put that mask on when it's 98+ with 100%+ humidity.

Somebody will invest a mask with a screened front and battery-operated fan for improved airflow.

Wonder how many people are going to pass out? I feel bad for the workers, having to wear it for your whole shift. I use to work at Kennywood and those all day shifts in the hot and humid 90+ degree days were brutal even without a mask.

Six Flags is reopening soon with the same restrictions. Have to think Kennywood eventually will too.

I said the same thing to my wife. No way in hell I would suffer through a typical Disney day with a mask on.

We moved our Disney vacation that was supposed to happen this weekend. Originally thought July, but reconsidered and moved it to March of next year.

43% of deaths from .6% of the population. This is with NYS severely undercounting nursing home deaths.

Yeah we moved it to July 2021. I’m content with that still. While it may be allowed, I’m not sure how comfortable we’d be. Plus we were unable to do a lot of the planning since most places were closed.

Why do some COVID-19 patients infect many others, whereas most don’t spread the virus at all?
