Went over to Ohio today and Based on mask usage apparently COVID is no longer a threat there- except people from PA still can’t buy booze.

California to allow hair salons and barbershops to reopen

https://www.cnbc.com/2020/05/26/califor ... -says.html

I would definitely get one if they were open in my county (Washington) which meets his requirements.
Did you see the story that Freddy posted where a couple great clips "stylists" tested positive after seeing 140 customers?
yep, still going to my local barber as soon as he opens. Can't wait till 2021 for a hair cut. Bald on top and over my ears on side. Hard to look in the mirror.
I finally caved and gave myself a 1 all over a few weeks ago--only the second time since entering the CG in 2001 have I had that haircut. The last time was ten years ago and about 45 pounds heavier, and it was not a flattering look at that time. I like it now.

My wife cut my hair for the first time last month and she did a great job, so I'm going to keep doing that and save that $20 every six weeks. I feel bad the salon would losing my business but my favorite person there just left in February for a non-hairstyling job so its time to make the change.

I've been cutting my own hair for 15 years. It's the only area where I was actually prepared for a quarantine.

My wife has cut my hair ever since we got married. I'm bald so it makes no sense to pay someone to do what it takes 5 minutes to do on #2 in the winter and #1 in the summer.

I have typical hockey player hair. Think of a run of the mill hockey player. Think of his hair. That's my hair. I usually hit the barber every three or four weeks and pay like $35 including a tip. mrs meow gave me a sharp cut. So sharp that I'm thinking about letting her keep doing it. I just need to get her more comfortable using my safety razor for my neck line

I pretty much have Larry David hair at this point and am taking advantage of the current time to let it grow. Can't wait until I can put it in a ponytail and do some hilarious combovers.

After calling about 69 different places, I finally found one willing to groom my dog before August.

Hes going in tomorrow afternoon!

Our one dog goes June 9th to the groomer, he is looking ragged. He was supposed to go in back in March right when all was shut down, and he was at like 6 weeks since his last cut then.

I was at least able to get him into the vet next week to at least get his nails trimmed back. His nails are bad, I can comb him and all that, but I won't touch his nails.

Me and the wife never tried the chaining thing. Never to late to try a new one.

Of course we can. Not without proper testing, contract tracing, and quarantining when appropriate. We need to be able to lock down specific areas again if there are hot spots. That has to be an option.
