I've been working a lot, but it's really not that different for us since we already were homeschooling.

We have no kids to worry about. My wife is at home 2 out of 4 days right now. I'm home every day. The biggest issue for us is this happened right in the middle of selling our house.

Yeah we’re doing great aside from the stress of the wedding possibly being postponed. We’re doing things together we always said we should do but were always too tired or distracted to do. We’re going on daily walks, playing board games, finally beating Crash Bandicoot. If we forget that the day we’ve been planning for two years is likely going to be cancelled, we have a lot of fun.

Glad they have tests for tigers in captivity. Must mean that every living American has received their own test.
The Bronx Zoo posted this on their FB page today. I assume they took a lot of heat for the original post:

From Dr. Paul Calle, Bronx Zoo chief veterinarian; "The COVID-19 testing that was performed on our Malayan tiger Nadia was performed in a veterinary school laboratory and is not the same test as is used for people. You cannot send human samples to the veterinary laboratory, and you cannot send animal tests to the human laboratories, so there is no competition for testing between these very different situations."

That's what they want you to think.

I bet the tests for asymptomatic celebrities is similarly described.

My SO is in grad school right now so I'm probably seeing her more since we're both WFH during the day right now. usually one of us will take the living room and the other will take the desk setup upstairs depending on if I need the desk to spread paperwork out. most days we'll do some king of exercise once I'm off the clock. most days we walk but a few days ago when went out and passed a street hockey puck (CAR!) and then Sunday we took the baseball gloves out and played catch. at night she does what she was doing before, working in the upstairs room on schoolwork.

My cousin, who is (I don't know how else to put this) involent due to no fault of his own, is in the ICU now. It's been 22 years since his incident that put him in this condition, and he's 43 now. It's not COVID. But my uncle and aunt are just beside themselves. Only one at a time can be in his room, and the doctors are so tied up on COVID, it feels as if they are pretty much afraid to treat him. Has a ton of fluid retention and even on oxygen, still having low saturations. For a guy that was given like 5 years to live after his incident 22+ years ago, this would be a sad end to a hell of a fighter.

I'm loving so much time with my 2.5 yr old son. Wife and I are fine but shes really struggling with this pregnancy. Sick pretty much 24/7. I try to take him outside during the day when it's nice for a little to give her a chance to relax, he does a great job of entertaining himself while I do odd jobs around the yard or outside of the house, and I'll pop by every couple minutes to give him attention.

Yeah I have been absolutely loving all of this time with my kids. My son just turned six months old and I feel tremendously blessed that not only can I still work FT from home when 95% of my company is furloughed, but that I get to spend so much time with him as he goes thru this crazy development stage. I've gotten lots of great play time with my six year old daughter too. Wife and I doing pretty well, better than I expected.

Honestly, I'm going to really have a hard time initially once the kids are back in school/day care. I think I'll finally understand what it was like for my wife coming back from maternity leave, although I think it's even tougher now because he has such a fun personality

I matched with a girl on a dating app right before everything started getting shut down. We've really hit it off, and I think part of that is we can be a little more deliberate with how we're going about everything. We've talked at length almost every day since St Patrick's weekend and have been doing periodic phone calls and face timing.

We still haven't physically met yet but in a way I feel like having to be separated by the quarantine has helped us actually develop something instead of rushing into it.

In the non-romantic sphere it's tough not being able to meet friends for some beers at a bar or something, but we've all been trying to stay in touch. Jackbox seems to be the go-to right now, which is always a good time.

I didn't realize but apparently all federal loans were put into forbearance. Which is actually WORSE for the long term financial health of borrowers. Surprised when my automatic payment didn't post today.

Forbearance or deferment? I was under the impression it was the latter.

My fiance is working 12 hour days (7 days a week) right now, so it's nice that I don't have a commute so I can help with dinners and other things around the house, to lighten up his load and give him some precious free time. The apartment is not big, but he is so hyper focused during the days that it's basically like I'm working alone in the house.

Somehow I don't have more free time to do the things we have always said we wanted to do. But that might change has things move forward.

Discussion: Neither surgical nor cotton masks effectively filtered SARS–CoV-2 during coughs by infected patients.

...assuming that SARS-CoV-2 has a similar size, surgical masks are unlikely to effectively filter this virus.

Is there a difference?
The interest is zero percent at the moment.
The site called it "administrative forbearance"
