Why anyone reads anything beyond the WHO, the CDC, or their state’s governor is beyond me

Yeah, I don't think playing Captain Hindsight is really helpful here. We better be prepared next time but next time is less important than right now

And despite being morose, I think articles like this actually help the situation now more. If people are realizing that were literally having to choose who lives and who dies, hopefully they take more precaution
sadly we have too many people in the USA that think nothing bad happens to them. it all happens to people in Third World Countries and, apparently, Italy. just wait until doctors actually have to make these decisions (I hope it doesn't come to that) and then watch the lawsuits roll in. :scared:

This is good. NYT still has the number of tests per day wrong, but that’s ok...

Yet the governor there wants to block cars with NY license plates from entering the state.

I was told that DeSantis was doing a tremendous job in Florida.

Why would anyone listen to WHO? They've been bought and paid for by the Chinese for months.

According to worldometers, the USA had the slowest increase in daily cases in the last week. Hopefully that means we are nearing our peak as a country.

Remember when the spike this week was going to be from sudden widespread testing? The pessimist says this “plateau” or even slight decline is just getting us back to true new daily cases. We haven’t actually hit exponential growth in most parts of the country yet. You look at that cases per million number and we’re not even close to Germany who a couple days ago was all the rage for great numbers.
I hope I’m wrong, but statistics can always be read two way unfortunately.
