where's the gabagool@slappybrownUnfortunately the source is in Italian and I don't know Italian. I'd be interested to see what the "Other illness" list is... we talking asthma, pneumonia, cancer kind of things or does that include things like acne? or allergies?

I assume this is a typo?1 - if you have a fever, you dont have covid
A fever is one of the keystone symptoms of COVID. Obviously it's a symptom of influenza and a whole host of other illnesses, but this isn't right.

By highest number, pre-existing conditions that were also present were (1) hypertension/high blood pressure; (2) diabetes; (3) artherosclerosis (these three made up around half of total pre-existing conditions). About 75 percent of the patients had 3 or more of the various pre-existing conditions. Which makes sense, because of how old they were.@slappybrownUnfortunately the source is in Italian and I don't know Italian. Yeah I totally get it. I'm just used to having the store to myself that early. Since our gym is closed I've had to workout at home but since I'm up at the same time anyways figured would just go to the store early and get it out of the way.A lot of stores that are open 24/7 have moved their hours to allow for night time disinfecting. I'd imagine a lot of people want to get there early these days for a freshly disinfected store rather than wait until the evening when there have been people wandering the aisles.I went to the store this morning to get some essentials to hold us at least over the weekend. I always shop like 6:30 or so cause normally o go right after I leave the gym. It's usually a ghosttown. This morning it was like black friday at 6:30. People were complaining cause there was no ground meat etc. There was TP and paper towels though. I got what I needed and got out, but felt bad for the people working taking the brunt of people's misguided anger.

No, he's saying just because you have a fever doesn't mean you have the COVID. You could, but you don't have to rush your local ER to get tested.I assume this is a typo?1 - if you have a fever, you dont have covid

My 59 year old dad with HBP rolls into my house today, shoes on (we never wear shoes inside), and buffs at me asking him to wash his hands before playing with my son.
Look, I'll allow you here because you're pretty healthy relatively speaking. But just use common sense

There's something about seeing a movie on a huge screen vs a TV, even 75" or larger, that can't be beat.Think about it. Thirty years from now.. "Dad, you mean you guys all paid $10 to go into one big room and watch a movie?"Could this be the end of movie theaters? https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/other/sa ... r-BB11gHlX

On top of that, I'm seeing a lot of stores (Giant and Target in my area) now using 6-7am as elderly hours only, so that they get first crack at everything. As it should be.A lot of stores that are open 24/7 have moved their hours to allow for night time disinfecting. Movie theaters are just pricing themselves into obscurity. I love the theater experience, for the most part, but not at $15-20/each.There's something about seeing a movie on a huge screen vs a TV, even 75" or larger, that can't be beat.Think about it. That's on the studios though. Theaters get a ridiculously small cut of ticket sales, especially for the "event movies". As low as 20% or less in many cases. I'd go on, but wrong thread.

I still enjoy movie theaters. There's a certain excitement I have seeing a movie in the theater compared to seeing it at home
