COVID-19
It is. Tough to enforce on a large scale. Just a bunch of people ****ing it up for everyone else.I went to the schenley oval to job yesterday, there were some pretty big soccer games going on. I thought that was improper social distancing.

Bingo. I'm sure what I have is a sinus infection/cold which are commonly accompanied by lack of appetite. But add the stress factor and I've eaten very little in the past week. Makes food rationing easier...Stress will do that, too.
As for kids, mine is also super mature. He's aware there's a virus that is very bad mostly for older people. Older than his mom and dad. We stay home to prevent getting other people sick because we might have it and be fine but others might not be. He's super cool with. He's also stir crazy as **** but that's expected. He's allowed to play outside in our yard. Just don't touch anything and wash your hands as soon as you come inside. He sings the first verse of Master of Puppets while washing his hands and then turns the water off and yells "MASTER OF PUPPETS IM WASHING YOUR HANDS!" The kid is a trip.

I'm convinced I'm absolutely fine and don't have coronavirus if that's what you meanOK guys, you're starting to sound like you just read a webMD article and are convinced you're going to die.
But still, it's a bad time to come down with a cold.

Same... And I had a glass of bourbon every night which I thought had a lot to do in helping with it all.I had gastrointestinal problems last week and what I thought was an allergy induced cough, that has since basically gone away...

My cousin mentioned they're offering over a hundred dollars an hour. Which its still risky, but a hell of a reward.https://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news/tr ... y-n1163081Kudos to any medical professionals willing to take that risk. That takes some guts.Trump says hospital ships heading into coronavirus battle, Navy says they're not ready yet
Also, the governor said, they are “reaching out to retired nurses, retired doctors, reaching out to medical schools” for more manpower.
“You need a reserve capacity,” Cuomo said.

Didn't the Washington strain go through a nursing home?Someone posted here about the cases in Washington being from China and the cases in NY being from Europe? I can't find it. I'm looking right now at the mortality rates:
NY: 0.6%
Washington: 5.4%
California: 1.8%
Is it possible the stuff in Washington and the stuff in NY are completely different strains of this thing and thus different mortality rates? I mean they're nearly an order of magnitude apart from each other...
(probabky already covered this, I'm catching up)
