I still can’t believe that seatbelts aren’t required on school buses. Videos like this prove that they should be.

Connecting this back to being old, while taking a pop at your "wrap them in bubble wrap" seatbelt position... I miss riding in the bed of a pickup truck.

My first computer didn't even have a hard drive, Booted and ran from 5 1/4 inch floppy. No mouse and everything ran by typing DOS stuff. Think I got it in the late 70's

My parents were boomers. But riding in the back of a pickup was always a good time.

Ok this one predates me - I'm not THAT old. But I looked on Youtube and there are a couple from the early 80s that I remember.

I received my first AARP solicitation at 50. Promptly transferred it to the trash can.

I don't remember this one specifically. My guess is it's late 1960's?

Another one that hit me recently. Actresses who played the "hot girl/teen" in movies when I when I was a kid are now playing mothers/grandmothers.

Oh I’ve already been asked if I get the senior discount at IHOP which was odd since I had my 10 year old along. I politely told them I was only 48. I guess technically she could be my grandkid.

I have since established that I’m not going to proactively lie and ask for it but next time I’m asked- f*** pride hell yeah I want the discount.

I just headbanged to a clip of a song for like 10 seconds.. and I have a headache. Holy **** I'm old. Gone are the days where I could do that for a couple hours and not feel any side effects.
