Who are we riding with this year?

My back of the napkin math has LA with the most Pitt/Akron players so I am now a diehard Wildcat fan.

Also, the St. Louis BattleHawks and the TB Vipers seem to have an intense rivalry budding, though there is some internal strife between Battlehawks fans themselves.

https://www.riverfronttimes.com/artsblo ... hawks-fans
On Facebook, the St. Louis BattleHawks Fan Page and its adherents have embraced the bird-based battle cry, declaring that "Ka Kaw is law" and dubbing themselves "#KaKawNation." Meanwhile, those who frequent The Official St. Louis Battlehawks Fan Page are unhappy with that war cry, and aren't even convinced that a BattleHawk is a bird at all, but rather a helicopter.

TIL Bob Stoops is coaching in the XFL

Early returns show Cardale Jones is playing in DC, so I guess I want to see him do well.

I'm actually intrigued by the new rules, so I'm curious to watch a game or two and see how it goes

I actually was expecting the thread to be a joke...

I feel like I should just bet on a few of the heaviest underdogs...there's no way Vegas could know this league...there's one team with a dumb name (BattleHawks? RoughSex? something) that is like +400...like...how...? How do you know...

The obvious choice is to see Landry finally get the chance to ball out with the Dallas Renegades. Dude is gonna have his Tommy Maddox moment. Former Pitt great James Folston is also a backup OLB for Dallas. Gonna be a dynamic offense/defense duo for sure.

As far as other Panther greats, Dorian Johnson is the starting LG for DC, Dewayne Hendrix is a BattleChicken (as is Steelers legend Terrance Garvin), and despite ulf's excellent counting skills LA appears to have zero Pitt and/or Akron players, so that's an exciting conundrum regarding his declared diehard fandom.

Legendary Pitt XFL draft picks Adam Bisnowaty, Nicholas Grigsby, Quadree Henderson, and Scott Orndoff are either out of work or found a way onto NFL offseason rosters.

Being able to hear the coaches call plays live on air won't lead to any problems...

I felt like I was watching the Pro Bowl

I love the sideline interview immediately following the play. Especially when they interviewed the dude who just committed a personal foul and he dropped an F bomb.
