Outside of JT Riddle and Dovydas Neveroutsgets, I dont have a problem with Sheltons usage strategy. Seems to me like they're just trying to get everyone PT to see where they are in terms of asset value.

Would like to see more Hayes but realistically there's not a huge level of urgency to get him out there every day. I'm alright with keeping him fresh to possibly help avoid a slump.

How do the Pirates get rid of Musgrove? Worse than Williams.

Strange things are afoot at the circle K.

Prior to tonight’s start, brault averaged 20.6 pitches per inning. So of course tonight he goes out and throws a complete game with a tidy 110 pitches in two hours and 25 minutes. Most of his starts take 2 hours and 25 minutes to get through 4 innings.

I honestly thought we'd never see another complete game from a Pirates pitcher. With all of the injured arms on pitch count limits and general lack of skill.

4-2 against the Cards this year. And they were a half game out of the playoffs before yesterday's game. Lol

Watching on FS1 and the Cardinal announcers are insufferable.

Doofus McBeardy is yanking Keller despite the no-no to turn to his lights-out bullpen. Fire him now.

Everyone except Shelton saw that coming. And Dejan is defending it, because he loves this front office now.

Have the game on in the 6th now and they are pulling a pitcher with a no hitter?

Per baseball reference

Kebryan Hayes leads the team in WAR (1.1). He has 14 more plate appearances than Jarrod Dyson.

Jacob Stallings is second on the team in WAR (0.6)

Nick Tropeano is third on the team in WAR (0.6). He has pitched 13 innings.

Mitch Keller is fourth on the team (0.5) he has pitched 16 innings.

Stallings was at 0.9 a week ago. Guess he turned back into a bald ass pumpkin. As horrific as this season has been, when does this string of **** run for the Pirates end? There’s like 4 guys in the organization who belong on a 25 man roster and they’ll never spend money to improve. They might top out at 50 wins next year if playing a full schedule.
