I’m stunned that a pitcher in the Pirates organization throws that many pitches. He should have been perfecting his two-seamer before being allowed to throw anything else.

Evidently, Brubaker has always been a starter. He does have five effective pitches, which is about three more than your average reliever.
Somewhere, Ray Searage sees all that off-speed stuff and starts cursing about how that's terrible pitching.

I'm under no impression that they'll be any good but seeing Polanco's name in there instead of Heredia makes the lineup look not horribly terribad

That lineup is the best they’ve got. Moran at third gives me the willies, tbh. His bat plays right now though.
