Headline on the trib's website today: Can the Pirates' starting rotation keep team afloat?

I can answer the question: No.

They usually ask this every year, it's always the same answer and outcome.

So if we get no specific injury update, we just assume COVID, right?

Polanco for me, has just become a non-entity to the team, which stinks.

I remember how hyped we all were when he started to make his way up through the minors. A friend of mine from work - a lifelong Reds fan - raved about his swing and arm strength. And now...blah.

Gregory Polanco has tested positive for covid-19, Pittsburgh Pirates manager Derek Shelton confirmed Friday afternoon after receiving consent from the right fielder to reveal the news.

Had you not told me who tested positive, I'd have just assumed it was Polanco.

Nobody else watching the game tonight? I didn't know about it but it popped up on my DVR. Musgrove looked good. Offense looks weak.

The piped in crowd noise are not bad. Mostly it's the din of the crowd.

I've been listening on the radio. Block is still not my favorite.

Too sarcastic? He has the announcer voice down. The Fort talks too much and has talked over play.
