Looking forward to this guy hitting the precipice of stardom as he’s held criminally liable for his window A/C unit falling out and killing a family of 10 walking beneath his apartment and the ensuing criminal investigation revealing that he’s actually 10 years older than his stated age, has a hidden cache of beastiality porn, is somehow a distant relative and fan of the Green River Killer, mules heroin across the border for the Yakuza, works as a spy for the CPC, and is actually a Cyberdyne Systems T-1000 sent back in time to help bring on Judgement Day.

Better end result for a pirate player:
Unable to play due to criminal activities?
Traded away and form the core of playoff teams?
Just flat out suck (Polanco)

I will never forget the crowd cheering when Bell was announced as a scratch at one of the games I attended during his pre-shutdown season.
Also, the infamous clip from The Best Damn Sports Show where Tom Arnold said "I'm just saying... You're batting under 200... You already shut the damn thing down."

Here are the MLBTR arbitration predictions (they are using three potential models).Josh Bell – $5.1MM / $7.2MM / $5.7MM
Steven Brault – $1.5MM / $2.5MM / $1.5MM
Nick Burdi – $600K / $600K / $600K
Kyle Crick – $800K / $900K / $800K
Michael Feliz – $1.1MM / $1.1MM / $1.1MM
Adam Frazier – $3.3MM / $5.2MM / $3.7MM
Erik Gonzalez – $1.2MM / $1.9MM / $1.2MM
Chad Kuhl – $1.3MM / $2.2MM / $1.4MM
Luke Maile – $900K / $900K / $900K
Colin Moran – $1.9MM / $3.3MM / $1.9MM
Joe Musgrove – $3.2MM / $4.4MM / $3.4MM
Jose Osuna – $1.1MM / $1.3MM / $1.1MM
Richard Rodriguez – $1.1MM / $1.7MM / $1.1MM
Jacob Stallings – $1.0MM / $1.4MM / $1.0MM
Chris Stratton – $800K / $1.2MM / $800K
Jameson Taillon – $2.3MM / $2.3MM / $2.3MM
Trevor Williams – $3.2MM / $4.6MM / $3.5MM
John Ryan Murphy – $700K / $700K / $600K
Nick Tropeano – $800K / $900K / $700K
Likely the end for Moran and Williams, I don't see any reason to carry those salaries for next year, especially because 2021 is going to have a ton of teams dumping salaries, so you can easily find better players for that price, or you are the pirates and would rather just cut the payroll. I also definitely now agree that Archer is gone, another situation where if they waned to spend that money, they could find better players for the cost in the open market.
So the only contracts they have are Polanco and the pedo guy (which I can't imagine is being paid), so they are easily in the 50-55mm range for next year.

I know we all saw this coming when the Pirates had him serving up gopher balls in order to keep his strikeout rate down so he would be easier to re-sign.

Ehh I know it's popular and often times 100% accurate to pile on Searage and company but they got some decent years out of Morton when the Braves gave up on him. I remember he came up and had crazy stuff but about 0 control

I forget what his problem exactly was, but his splits were crazy here in Pittsburgh. He couldn't get left handed hitters out.

Stallings might actually win. He's up against Willson Contreras and Tucker Barnhart are the other nominees.

Pirates decline to pick up Archer’s $11 million option for next season.
That seals the deal on what has to be the worst trade in Pirates history, and perhaps in all professional sports.
