That guy's twitter is really something...can someone just, briefly, tell me who David Hookstead is...?

Yeah, what relevance in this world does he really have. He tweeted about keeping politics out of sports with the kneeling and stuff and then comes back today and says that the Big Ten’s return is good for Trump and bad for Biden. F’ing hypocrite.

I honestly don't know, but it's a joke account right...? He keeps referencing that getting the Big Ten back is likened to war (D-Day, Band of Brothers, etc.)...but like this guy couldn't have had anything to do with it, right? It's just a meme for CFB insiders that I just don't get...

Yeah that is BA.

For those interested in learning more about the Airmen, there are a LOT of crappy books out there. This is the best one I've read:

Did not read that as “rapid” the first twelve times I read this post.

My first ever game at the Razorbacks Stadium was against Georgia 20 freakin' years ago. GA was up 24:0 at halftime, 38:0 after 3 quarters.

Today - Arkansas WON the first quarter, 7:0!!! Mission Accomplished :)

I know Mike Leach said/done quite a lot of stupid stuff in his life, but occasionally, he is gold:

I have major beef with how high some teams entered the rankings this week before playing a game

Teams in the rankings beat ranked teams and moved down because 0-0 teams jump in. Don't make no sense. They should jump in when they win games, and probably move up faster.. but you can have an 0-1 team next week possibly ranked 15th with 3-1 teams outside looking in. Rankings are dumb

This is about the time where I roll in and say that the AP rankings mean absolutely NOTHING nowadays. Even when they did mean something, it was foolish for anyone to have a ranking until after the first month of the season and things could get sorted out. In these broken-up times, it's beyond dumb to have any sort of rankings until December.
