So on the 50th Anniversary of the Marshall crash and the pain of this day we going to have a 5 minute video (that was excellently produced, thanks Geno Wojciechowski) and then no reaction from the panel?

Just the millionth "Tiger went to Stanford" moment?

Pathetic College GameDay.

Embarrassing.

Dumbest team in PSU history. So dumb that they’ve been rejected by UPS and moved over to Purolator Courier.

UPS is the first team since 1984, to be ranked in the preseason top 10 and start the season 0-4.

Who was the last team?
PITT

Clemson flew down there yesterday, and were getting ready to head to the stadium. I think it’s getting pretty close to shutting down the season, folks. How many postponements and cancellations have there been the last two weeks?

With how poorly PSU has played this year, I say shut it down yesterday.

Florida State should be forced to forfeit.

There was a single positive test from a backup Offensive Lineman. The same player had negative tests all week. Clemson was willing to play as all protocols were followed.

There are zero cases worldwide of in-game transfer between players over six months of athletic activity.

Dabo got fired up at FSU last night.
Dabo Swinney on Sunday evening unloaded his frustrations about Clemson’s game at Florida State being postponed hours before kickoff Saturday. In a heated dialogue, the Clemson coach said the decision was made for reasons other than COVID-19.

“This game was not canceled because of COVID. COVID was just an excuse to cancel the game,” Swinney said during a call with reporters. “To be honest with you, I don’t think it has anything to do with their players. I have no doubt their players wanted to play and would have played, and same with the coaches.

“To me, the Florida State administration forfeited the game. And if they want to play Clemson, in my opinion, they need to come to Clemson or they need to pay for all expenses. Other than that, there’s no reason for us to play them.”

Asked why Florida State would try to get out of the game, Swinney responded: “I can’t answer that. I just know the standard to play was met. So I can’t answer that. I just know they called the game.”

Swinney’s comments Sunday ignited strong reactions, hardly the first time for the outspoken coach. But as the pandemic spikes ahead of the Thanksgiving holiday, the opposing views of Clemson and Florida State underline once again the difficulty of playing in 2020.
I'm trying to put my Clemson bias aside, but struggling to do so. Pitt played Saturday with 14 players in isolation or positive tests, right? Another article stated that Clemson played a similar game this season with one positive test but both teams agreed to play.

The Clemson beat reporter who wrote this article for The Athletic's Twitter feed is filled with outraged fans saying Dabo is racist and doesn't care about the health of the players on both sides of the ball. I mean the player had symptoms early in the week, didn't practice, tested negative 2-3 times before the test came back positive. He hadn't had symptoms since Monday or Tuesday.

Did FSU not want an asshippin' at home again? Clemson was 35 point favorites...

Dabo is an asshat but also it appears FSU didn't need to cancel based on the info that's public at this time

Florida State 100% should be held accountable for not playing.

They probably did it to avoid the woodshed but nobody is ever going to take a hit for canceling anything in the name of COVID safety.

Clemson's AD is holding their open date on December 12 (which FSU shares) in case the Pitt game is canceled this weekend.

That's disturbing.

I saw a comment on an article that FSU played Pitt with one positive test. Is that true?

And all of Clemson's Sunday tests came back negative. :pop:
