No doubt that people have been tracking private jet tail numbers to see if Urban has been flying in and out of Austin.

^ Dirty Myrtle hosting GameDay. How cool is that?

The Chants could give many ACC football teams a run for their money...impressive program.

BYU has been waiting in the wings for someone to come open. They tried to get Washington last week but the Pac-12 requires conference teams to find other conference teams first before going out of conference. Since Utah was available, the Huskies had to bring the Utes to town. I'm sure as soon as BYU caught a sniff of Liberty having issues, they got on the horn to Coastal to get the ball rolling. There were a lot of people that wanted Cincinnati and BYU to figure something out but for whatever reason, that couldn't happen. Liberty-Coastal would have been a pretty fun game. BYU-Coastal is a lot more intriguing.

They should leave a week open every year for bracket buster type games to get scheduled.

I don't know where else to put it, but did anyone see this story about the ending of the Alabama 7A state championship?

https://www.si.com/extra-mustard/2020/1 ... nish-video

In summary, Thompson High turned the ball over at their own 20 yard line with 1:18 and 2 TOs left down 28-19. Auburn HS lost 25 yards kneeling out of shotgun to get the clock down to under 30 seconds. The punt was blocked and ran back for a TD with 18 seconds left. They kicked the XP to make 28-26. On the ensuing kick off, Auburn did not line up for an onside kick and Thompson got it easily. Two pass interference calls later (blatant ones at that and one on a 5 yard out pattern) gave Thompson a 35 yard FG attempt with 4 seconds left which was made as time expired to win 29-28.

Absolutely crazy.

Check 3:05 - Thompson players are crying on the sideline, consoling each other... Unbelievable. Right next to the 2011 finals of the Czech Floorball League :) :

(basically, best-of-5 finals series. Team B loses first two games. Then, team B (the game lasts 60 minutes):
Game 3: 9:7 , while being down 2:6 in the 44th minute
Game 4: 6:5 OT, while being down 2:5 in the 38th minute
Game 5: down 3:8 in the 51st minute, wins 9:8 in OT...

Pretty sure Franklin is going to have this happen taking knees from the shotgun eventually.

No sport suffers from awful coaching the way football does. Too many teams and too many coaches means a lot of guys who can’t spell their own names get paid despite being morons.
