I'd rather sign Teddy H20 but I wouldn't say no to Tom

I'm for it just to see him shame Fichtner for being an idiot.

No. Brady has hit the wall. You watch him play over the last two years and it's clear the Patriots have won more games despite him and fewer because of him. He's missing relatively easy throws multiple times a game. He's just not 'the piece' any longer.

I went down a rabbit hole of Polamalu videos yesterday. I don't know that I'll ever enjoy watching somebody play football as much as I have Troy.

Replying to my own post but Greg Olsen would look pretty damn good in a Steelers jersey for a short term contract. Wait to draft a TE until next year in the first or second round. Sign Olsen to a two year deal and hopefully he stays healthy

Greg Olsen is good, until he twists his ankle on the first series and he's never heard from again. He might be just as fragile as Mac at this point in his career.

Yea it’s a serious risk without a doubt. But I don’t think keeping Vance at his salary makes sense. And if we miss out of Hooper or Henry or even someone like Ebron (which we likely will), I don’t want Nick f’ing Vannett being our starting TE. And we aren’t getting one in the draft that will produce this year.

I like our receiving core, maybe add one WR in the draft or sign someone that’s not Holton.

But, as the super bowl showed us, TEs are a must. Our three receivers plus a competent TE will really complete our offense I believe.

TEs have been a must since Hernandez was murdering people. Miller was probably the most a TE is going to be used in our system, and none of those guys would likely work here, let alone making the salary working.

I'll be surprised if Ben ever comes back the same.

Greg Olsen is a good player, and I think it'd be worth the risk signing him to an incentive-rich contract.

He was already on the Brady downward trajectory imo. It may not be pretty if/when he comes back

It's so weird to say that coming off the season he had, but I actually agree. I think the warning signs were there that he couldn't get the ball downfield like he used to, without his WRs having to make really good plays, and he was fortunate to have AB/JuJu doing that.

It could always be worse (the coward Jesse james).

The coward Jesse James put up 16 catches for 142 yards and zero TDs for the Lions in 2019. Optimal.
