A couple stressful moments waiting for the flag call and the replay to confirm!
This is basically every big play/TD for me in today’s NFL.

I love how much Joe Maniganello loves Pittsburgh.

I remember not being all that excited because I saw the flag fly during the beginning of the run back and assumed the touchdown wouldn't count.

Unreal catch thanks to unreal ball placement by Ben. Ben was incredible on that drive and while most of his passes went to Santonio, who made one of the finest catches I've ever seen, if the Steelers' QB was anyone other than Ben they win the MVP instead of Santonio.

Tom Barrasso should've been MVP of the '92 Cup run, too, but lost the popularity contest. He was in net for all 16 wins when that was still very uncommon (I think only two or three other keepers had done that prior), including winning a road Game 7 against the #2 seed (who had pretty much owned them during the regular season). Meanwhile, after losing the first game Mario missed, the Pens won the next four in a row without him in the lineup, and went on to not lose again in the playoffs.

But that's for a different thread.

Wife: Why is there blood on Ben’s face?
Me: Baltimore
Wife: But that doesn’t...
Me: It does.

bq. In fact, in the five games in 2018-2019 where Nix was on the field for at least 10 snaps, Conner rushed 112 times for 598 yards for an average of 5.3 yards per carry. When Nix got less than 10 snaps or didn’t play altogether, Conner went 219-839-3.8.

Class, who can spot the flaw in the logic here?

Extremely small sample size and strength of opponent if I had to guess

That's part of it. There's also the problem of not looking at what actually happened when Nix was on the field to see if Conner really was more successful in those spots.

Guess what happens when you look at Conner's numbers with and without a fullback?

Courts are closed. I have time to kill and the morons at BTSC are making me wistful for days gone by.

Can you imagine if Ben hadn't made that shoestring tackle in the Colts game, and that was The Bus's final stop?

My heart dropped when I saw the ball come out of his hands, and then again as Ben made The Tackle. What a finish.
