If the titans beat Houston they are in regardless of whether they win or loss to NO and regardless of whether we beat BALBut, if they win today and next week, it doesn’t matter what the Steelers do.

Depends on whether they win next weekAre the Titans in if they win next week?

If the titans and Steelers win next week, then I believe the only other scenario where the Steelers make it is if 6 teams lose for the Steelers. So effectively a zero percent chance of the titans win. But, if they win today and next week, it doesn’t matter what the Steelers do.

AB would've caught that
He actually probably would have.
Speaking as a Dolphins fan Steelers should have thrown another pick in for the other Fitzpatrick as well and you guys would be in the playoffs

Meh...Conner hasn't shown the ability to stay healthy enough to be on the field consistently to this point in his career. Whether it was late against Miami or some other random time, he was going to be hurt and unavailable.

Probably, but that's all the more reason to keep him off the field in the exact situation.

If anyone has wondered... people punching you in the nuts (on purpose) happens about 2 to 3 times a game.

FREE LYNCHPittsburgh Steelers quarterback Mason Rudolph is expected to miss Sunday's game against the Baltimore Ravens with a left shoulder injury, league sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter.
With Rudolph sidelined, the Steelers will stick with Devlin Hodges as starter as they try to make the playoffs.

The 2020s are going to be a rough decade for the Pittsburgh stillers organization.

Once Ben retires, I hope the front office goes into full rebuild and hopefully get a new franchise QB in the draft instead of trying to patch things together

Can't go full rebuild mode with this defense.

How much longer will the defense be this good for though? 2-3 years?

This team can contend if the offense was even average. I don't see it getting fully blown up any time soon

I don't expect Ben to retire until his current contract is over. He might be forced into it earlier though

I don’t watch enough of other teams. Is Derek Carr just bad or did Gruden ruin his development? I know he was trending upwards pretty hard a couple years ago and then injuries and Gruden came in. I know he’s not going to be with the Raiders after this years. Take him on a back up/prove it deal as a contingency these next couple years? If he gets a shot and gets back to starting form great, if not he’s a decent backup.

Carr is fine and his stats this season are fine. Exactly what I would expect to see from a middle of the road starting QB in the NFL; decent production versus limited mistakes. The Raiders are also devoid of a pass catching playmaker (RIP AB), as their leading receiver is a TE who has more than 400 receiving yards over their leading wideout. I don't know if Gruden is to blame as much as maybe Carr just peaked, but Gruden is very much a "shiny new toy" kind of coach when it comes to his QBs and definitely wants a replacement.
I would definitely be willing to give him the Teddy Bridgewater treatment, I just don't think the Steelers can fit him under the cap. While Gruden and Carr have a solid relationship, per La Canfora, the Raiders coach reportedly has issues with the veteran's inability to extend plays with his legs and has fallen in love with the athletic college quarterbacks who have taken the NFL by storm. Gruden is expected to go deep in his evaluation of the 2020 QB class and look to upgrade the position, several sources told La Canfora.

Too bad the stillers cant/wont tell Ben and his busted ass arm to get on with his life's work and give bridgewater some free agent money. is bridgewater good enough to win a superb owl with this defense? hmmmm.

He broke his leg a couple years ago, and that seemed to push 'pause' on his development. Is Derek Carr just bad or did Gruden ruin his development? I know he was trending upwards pretty hard a couple years ago and then injuries and Gruden came in.
