GDT -- Steelers v. Dolphins -- 2019 Week 8 -- MNF
Slapster is undefeated in GDTs, I am undefeated in games I have personally attended. If you want to take up a collection to send me around for the rest of their schedule I would be game for that.

I’m still not super confident about mason Ramsey. He was bailed out several times by good efforts from WR team on poor throws

He’s a ball hawk. So that’s something.

I’m just glad he started throwing it to wide receivers more than 3 yards downfield.I’m still not super confident about mason Ramsey. He was bailed out several times by good efforts from WR team on poor throws

He tends to throw late. He waits for the receiver to be open instead of throwing them open. He's still getting his feet under him at this level, but that is just about the worst trait a QB can have in the NFL. He's not reading coverage and anticipating the routes...yet. He either can't see it, doesn't trust it or is simply adjusting to the speed of the game at this level. He's got the arm talent, so I'm hoping that it's just more paralysis by analysis than anything.I’m just glad he started throwing it to wide receivers more than 3 yards downfield.I’m still not super confident about mason Ramsey. I do think it is somewhat of a learned trait, so we'll see. Ben didn't really start excelling at this until right around the second SB run.

On a side note, are all MNF games on ESPN like that where throughout the game the bottom 1/4 of the screen is a stack of multiple scroll tickers? Brutal.

Good analysis. What he lacks is the ability to escape and improvise that Roethlisberger had when he was young. Still to early to tell whether he can develop the ability to anticipate routes and read defenses. He tends to throw late. He waits for the receiver to be open instead of throwing them open. This is also something that he could have gotten out of his system early on had the coaching team let him get comfortable with throwing down field. Oh well, he led a comeback after being down by two scores. That’s def something. He tends to throw late. He waits for the receiver to be open instead of throwing them open. He's still getting his feet under him at this level, but that is just about the worst trait a QB can have in the NFL. He's not reading coverage and anticipating the routes...yet. I haven't noticed calm really personally. Not saying he isn't. He seems determined. Ball hawk is perfect. He seems to feel entitled to interceptions. Also i liked Tomlin saying he's little to no maintenance. And he acts like a leader out there. Enthusiastic, complimentary and maybe cocky. Like he takes some responsibility on his shoulders for the D being good. So far so good for sure. His pick at the 3yd line was less important in field position and more in sheeet he can do that? With Bush and his insane takeaway start and our solid corners and nickel backs and watt - there're playmakers out there. I miss tuitt because with him this is an easy top 5 D. Obv also Heyward is very goodHe's so.....calm. He just looks like a guy that gets it on the field. For the first time since Dick Lebeau was still employed by the Steelers, their overall defense is the least of my worries now. Tackling is surprisingly subpar, but I agree that they have playmakers at every level now.
