Straight flights are about double, but issue is less cost than times of flights.

I’d probably say Philadelphia as well. Dulles has the potential to need to take a bus thing to get across to other terminals, LaGuardia sucks, and Atlanta is a behemoth that I try to avoid whenever possible.

Philly is one big terminal, end to end. As noted, the others might involve shuttles between terminals if you're talking about regional routes.

But, as PHL is one big building, remember that also has a caveat in that you might have to traverse the length of it to make your connection. Can you check into regular gate assignments for the routes you're flying? I flew LAX - DCA through PHL once, and it took me what felt like half an hour to get to the connection gate.

Detroit is like that too. Took forever to get from one end of the terminal to the other

I ended up choosing Philadelphia, primarily because I took Tif's advice and looked at the normal gates for these flights, PHL gates are practically next door to one another.

That's super easy. Barely an inconvenience.

Yah, and with PHL, most of the airlines are confined to one terminal. Southwest in E, United/Delta in D, etc.

I would have taken Delta through Atlanta. Atlanta isn't that hard to get around, and Delta flies 717s from Atlanta to Charlotte, which I've never been on.

Booked an Airbnb for our Savannah trip in July way back in January. It was nice booking so early because I essentially had my pick of the litter. Found a really nice place close to Forsyth Park, and it was relatively cheap. We were set. Just got an e-mail over the weekend that my reservation was canceled... wtf? I go to try and find out what's up and the house that had great reviews (and many reviews) was just gone from the website entirely. They must have packed up shop and decided not to do it anymore, which is all well and good, but now everything is freaking booked except for stuff that's double or triple what I paid.

Oh well. Probably hop on hotwire, find a place with a pool, and just do a hotel instead of a house for the stay.

great reviews (and many reviews)
the best reviews?

lol... they were pretty good. I typically don't book a place on Airbnb unless the reviews are great and there are a lot of them.

Need some recommendations on where to go and rent a nice cabin/house for a bachelor party. Looking for 3-4 hours drive max from PIT. Would like decent amenities, like hot tub would be awesome. Close to golf and fishing but private enough to have a fire and stuff at night. Any recommendations? Poconos?
did mac and friends settle on a destination?

Yes and no. I have two bachelor parties actually this year. This was for the one I am the best man in, but we ended up booking Hocking Hills for the other one. here is the cabin we chose: https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/33395004?g ... N8H7ys1ykh

I am still looking for one somewhere in the ANF area, perhaps, for the other one.

The ANF one I am looking at is this one: https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/17506386?a ... s=WAx4aPTZ

I am pumped about the Hocking Hills one though I am worried it will end up being expensive bc I don't know how many guys will actually go.

We are doing the Tilt attraction at the top of the Hancock Tower tomorrow. Should be fun.
That’s fun and a bit nerve wracking for sure, but if it’s a clear day it’s exhilarating!
It was good visibility but I was kind of disappointed, tbh. I wanted to be more terrified.

Our daughter loved it.

California man, 65, dies following reported shark attack at Ka’anapali Beach Park

Aaaand now my wife doesn’t want to go into the water, as this attack was apparently only 69 yards offshore.
I heard about this from an autocrosser friend in California, the guy was a long time autocrosser out there. Sad.

Yep. I was really hoping that it was due to murky waters, but reports say that the water was clear and there was little surf. It won’t stop he from going in the water myself, but I’d be lying if I said it wouldn’t be in the back of my mind.

btw, I was in Mexico City two weeks ago. I think we might’ve gotten a little sick from the pollution but the trip was awesome. The good was great and there is nothing but culture

Highlights: saw a Club America game at Azteca, saw the Teotihuacán pyramids, went to Pujol which was ranked as the 17th best restaurant in the world by Restaurant magazine

We are going to a wedding in Ambridge this weekend...staying at the Sheraton by the airport. Most annoyingly, my tux is at the Men's Wearhouse in Cranberry, which isn't exactly along the way.

Related to my above post. We need to be at the venue in Ambridge at 5 PM tomorrow. I would like to check into the hotel first by the airport. Assuming we leave around 11:30-12 tomorrow morning; would we be better off taking 70 out to 79 and coming up that way as opposed to driving through the city? I know how bad the Parkway East/West traffic can be, and with us arriving in the area around 3:30, I'm pretty sure that it would actually be faster to go out through Canonsburg.

Hell, I just checked it now and in the middle of the day the parkway is a mess. Thoughts?

There's some construction on 70, but nothing too bad. 70-79 is a pretty easy trip up. Take the 519 Dunningsville shortcut.

Yea, 70 to 79 would be way faster. I graduated from Ambridge so let me know if you have any other questions about the area

I get to spend the week in Beaver Falls next week.
