I just returned from Disney. It was a great time and the Star Wars stuff was awesome. We also did a day at Universal, and it was pretty meh for me

I loved Disney World, but it is exhausting as a parent. There is no comparison between going adults only or bringing small children.I've found that most of the time when somebody has hated their experience at Disney World/Land, they just did it wrong.
That said, my wife is a full blown Disney freak and the recent business practices have really turned her off from wanting to go anytime soon. And we've been twice with our daughter already.

Fair point. With kids I imagine you're having to plan some rest time. I've only gone with nephews but my advice to those with kids would be to rope drop then head back to the hotel for naps/pool time around lunch. Return to the parks after dinner. As a proud childless millennial, I don't think I'd enjoy Disney nearly as much with kids. I ain't waiting in no line to meet a college kid in a costume.I loved Disney World, but it is exhausting as a parent. Are you talking about genie+? I was put off at first too, but I think it's going to be better than the old fast pass system. It's more similar to paper fast passes, and you could work the hell out of that system. That said, my wife is a full blown Disney freak and the recent business practices have really turned her off from wanting to go anytime soon. I did it with my kids, they were cheering me on around beer 10. Missed a couple of the rides because I had the spins pretty bad. It was awesome.I would love to go to Epcot sans kids. Drink my way around the world etc

Only 23k steps today. Relaxed a bit more.Ended the day with almost 31k steps. That was with sitting at the sports book area for two hours watching football and going to a Cirque du Solei show.I have 15k steps already today and it's 11am.
Almost 16 miles walked around Vegas today.
I love days like that. I think my all time record was when I went to the Sounders game in Seattle. That was like 35k and haven't gotten close since, with the exception of two half marathon days.

My first time there was the month it opened in 1982 or 1983 or whatever it was. Spaceship Earth broke as we were returning to the passenger unloading area (there's a name for that, but I can't remember what it is right now), so we were backwards at a 45° angle for like 20:minutes. Was hoot.I would love to go to Epcot sans kids. Drink my way around the world etc
First time I ever had Japanese food.

Yeah, O is a good one. I mean, they're all good, but O stands out.
Apparently if you sit high up in the auditorium you can see the performers getting air underwater, which is kinda funny.

O is really good.
I know it is only cirque-like but a friend of ours worked on building the sets for Le Reve at Wynn. Also a good show.

I thought it was really good. Not really my thing but it was interesting to see how they do all of that especially with the water. I respect the amount of work that goes into it.O is really good.

We saw Shin Lim last night and that was incredible. Just amazing slight of hand magic. Have no clue how he does any of it even up close. Colin Cloud was rely good too doing the in-between stuff during the show. Highly recommend it of you are in Vegas.

That’s the rumor. Say the building was up for sale earlier this year. Always knew this generation of owners would kill the business.
When I started there the focus was on good food. Homemade soups, homemade salad dressings, interesting specials every weekend, homemade desserts. The management changed hands (owners son took over), and all the food changed. They went to prepackaged everything. I think the guy had visions of franchising. Damn shame.
