I ended up buying the sausage slammers from Southside Market and they are fantastic. They were on sale at the time for $20 off.As a follow up to this:I think it's intended for yinzers with a craving getting it shipped across the country, not for jamokes living in town.
Awwww, yeah.
Sausage stuffed with jalapeno and cheddar, wrapped in bacon and smoked.
We heated some up with dinner (incidentally, we made our own Primanti's cajun chicken sammies as well) and they were insane.

Has anyone ever did Harry Potter world at Universal? Is finding a package the way to go with a family of 5?

did HP at USO but not with a family. park to park ticket is essential though. we started off in the Hogwarts side but in retrospect I think it would've been better if we started in Diagon Alley. when we got off the train we walked out and were like, "this is it? it just looks like modern-day London!" then we saw a door where people were coming out of and BAM!, Diagon Alley.Has anyone ever did Harry Potter world at Universal? oh, and get Butter Beer. YUM!

Yes and yes.
But seriously, they have the two Harry Potter "worlds" split across two different subparks, so you'll need tickets for both. But definitely take the Hogwarts express between the two...very cool.

If you want to get the most out of your time, don't skimp on tickets. Get the park hopper or park to park tickets AND get the express pass.

for those of you that have been there, does this look like a good deal?

This is likely a good deal if you were already planning on eating breakfast at those restaurants and getting the photography thing. It's also a park to park for every park including Volcano Bay, which I hear is awesome. I don't know enough about ticket prices to say if it's cheaper than just getting everything separate, though.for those of you that have been there, does this look like a good deal?

I would say that I would upgrade to express pass tickets if possible with this deal. Early park admission is great, but everybody who is staying onsite has early park admission.

ah, interesting, thanks. I don't know what Volcano Bay is, but if it's a water park, that's a big no for me. I'm terrified of water parks. All those people together in the water. the horror. This is likely a good deal if you were already planning on eating breakfast at those restaurants and getting the photography thing. It is a water park, and it's considered one of the best in the world. If you're not interested, maybe just getting park to park tickets without the waterpark would save you some cash.

Any cool spots around the arena?
Anything else "must do"?

Welp, AA finally dropped the hammer on me. AA account terminated, and 1.5m miles forfeited. Ah well, I was still ahead in the game.

There's an aquarium right near the arena. And a Victory Ship, if you're into WWII history.Tampa/Clearwater Thurs to Sun this week.

I'm looking up the restaurant we ate at near the arena, but can't remember the name. I'll post it when I find it.

Welp, the place we ate (Precinct Pizza) moved to another part of Tampa, no where near the arena. It was good, but not worth driving to from the arena.

Nice. Thank you both!
We're debating on possibly golfing 9 holes as well.

About 3/4 mile from the arena is a cluster of bars/restaurants called Channelside which might be a decent gathering place postgame.

Why is it so hard to understand that open seating on southwest also means "you can't save your 4 buddies with C30-33 a seat"

I rarely fly Southwest on a direct flight due to my aforementioned example from December when kids were laying in the aisles kicking me and the FA did eff all about it.
I would never connect on Southwest because through no fault of my own it is possible that I will have a late flight with an already boarded connection, be the last to board and have to ride dodint in the last row.

New one on me: after a 1:15 mechanical delay we have now been sitting in a corner of DFW delayed 45 min and counting due to an “issue with the passenger headcount.”
Just wow.

Time to plan the honeymoon. We're going to fly into San Fran, spend a few days there, drive down to LA to see some friends and sightsee, then on to Anaheim for Disneyland for 2 days and finally to Vegas for one final hurrah.
I lived in LA for a while so I know that my way around, Disneyland is easy since we're staying on property, and I've been Vegas enough to know where to stay. My problem is San Fran. What's a good area to stay? Would you recommend a nice hotel or would Air BnB be the way to go? I'd like to be in an area close enough to walk to touristy ****, safe enough to not worry about walking around late at night, and nice enough to be appropriate for a honeymoon. Any help would be much appreciated.
