Went to manage stuff for our Delta trip at the end of July. Was told my account was locked due to security concerns and to unlock it I would need to fill out and submit an online identity verification form. Got an email this morning stating that they couldn’t proceed with the request to unlock my account because my account was locked and to unlock it I needed to fill out and submit an identity verification form.

I will say after all the horror stories I’ve heard and read about airlines and airports this summer, my experience was entirely uneventful despite an hour delay due to lack of staff to clean/sanitize the plane prior to boarding.
Economy was a bad choice for a 7.5 hour flight. Was shocked to get a free alcoholic drink, a snack, and two meals though. Not bad, British Airways.

We had a 5 minute delay on my round trip to SD. It was just because the plane was late getting in and they needed to clean it. Beyond that, not a single hiccup.

Lucked out and got two court side Centre Court tickets for Wimbledon tomorrow. I’ll be wearing a Jerome Bettis jersey and my Pirates hat. Just kidding about the jersey not kidding about the Pirates hat.

I have a photo of myself at Royal Albert Hall on Kensington Gore, and I'm wearing a Pens jersey. Only the finest of fashions for this 'Murican.

Amazing! Wimbledon is a really fun atmosphere. We’ll see defending champ Iga Swiatek, Rafa Nadal, and the main event is Serena Williams return after a year out. My wife is a HUGE Serena fan and we’ve tried (and failed) to see her play multiple times over the last 10 years so this is a giant deal for her. We’ll also check out the lower courts as well. I think Nick Kyrgios is playing and he’s always hilarious. Centre Court matches start at 1:30 UK timeYeah, that's awesome! What time are the games you will be attending?Amazing! Wimbledon update: there’s a dude in a Steeler shirt sitting across the court. Yinzers are everywhere.

I was standing in Petco park (San Diego) waiting for my food and I look the left and there's a girl in a Pittsburgh sweater. I said, "Hey... a fellow yinzer." One of those things where if she just got the shirt on a whim, she'd have no idea what I was saying, but if she heard "Yinzer" she'd turn her head. Turns out she's born and raised in the Burgh and moved to San Diego last month. There really are Yinzers all over the place, and they're easy to identify because they wear yinzer gear.Wimbledon update: there’s a dude in a Steeler shirt sitting across the court. Got back from Maui this morning. Flew AA there, but United back, and let me tell you - I don't think I'll be going back to AA. United was around the same price overall, but the 772 we flew on from OGG-SFO was terrific. Lots of space in premium economy, quieter cabin, and the seats were actually relatively comfortable. Flew on a 738 from SFO-PHL, and I honestly think this may have been my first trip on a 737. I am so used to flying Airbus on AA metal. Similar to the 772, the seats were pretty comfortable, and I had plenty of leg room. Cabin is quite noisy, though, so noise cancelling headphones FTW there.
Just had an amazing time, and it was depressing as hell leaving for the airport yesterday morning. None of us wanted to leave. I think I got my daughter over her fear of snorkeling, too, which is a huge win. She went from being afraid to put her face in the water where fish were nearby, to literally chasing around a 4' long trumpetfish in the space of 15 minutes. She says it's her favorite thing to do now, so I'll be working on her getting more comfortable in deeper water for the next trip. I'll post some pics later.

Wound up with an end unit this year, so we were further away from the ocean than we normally are. However, I found out that the end units have an extended lanai that wraps around the back, so we also had an island view.
