We did a one day excursion in the Everglades on an airboat. Hiked the Shark Valley loop trail, saw quite a bit of wildlife.
Oh that sounds cool. Send me some info on the airboat if you remember any details

There are dozens to choose from, they all do pretty much the same thing. There were maybe 8 people total on the boat, not sure if it's worth it to do the private tour as all you get is more space to spread out.

I find myself this evening in Shreveport, LA and if there’s a more depressing place I’ve visited, I can’t think of it.

It has a really good brewpub so it’s got that going for it.

Also they have an ancoent blimp hangar looking hockey arena which looked cool.

I’m guessing you can get the airline to change it but who knows. I’d contact them ASAP

A few years ago I flew Spirit and accidentally put the name I go by, Richy, rather than my official doc name Richard. I was able to check in but precheck didn’t work because it has to be my name that I registered with. Pretty annoying

Apparently Mexico City's volcano decided a couple days before our trip was a good time to wake up.

Some of the distinguished folks here know - or at least very strongly believe the evidence suggests - that venturing into an active volcano eruption zone isn't the best idea that's ever been explored.

Of course, if it gets much worse it might not even be up to you whether you go or not.

It's probably not a great idea. Counterpoint is that I loved Dante's Peak as a youngster. I need to fly to Mexico City on Wednesday and then to Barcelona on Monday without this thing blowing it's top or at the very least spewing flight delaying volcanic ash everywhere.

My wife's family lives in Naucalpan, which is to the northwest and right outside of CDMX into Edomex. It's about six miles from Chapultepec and about double that from Roma. Roma, and Mexico City in general, is awesome.

Any recommendations for cruises leaving from Baltimore that have alcohol included in the price?
