I took a one night trip to WV yesterday and forgot my Kindle and jacket. Literally one bag and I blew it.

At our gate, and somebody here is hacking up a lung. This **** had better not be sick.

Our flight is delayed 15 minutes, which shouldn’t mess with our connection, but our plane has been at the gate for like 2 hours already.

Maui I assume? Where is your connecting, Phoenix or Dallas?

Yep, and connecting via Phoenix. AA cut most of their LAX/OGG routes, so this is the next best option. Wife very much prefers it to LAX, too.

As do I.
5 minutes to boarding, and zones 7-21 are already in line.

@dodint would hate this flight. There is a baby screaming bloody murder (mom is trying her best to calm the kid down).

I’m genuinely shocked that about 75% of the people on this flight are masked.

San Diego was pretty cool. I guess I should have known, but didn’t… they make a pretty killer pizza in Southern California. Blind lady ale house was our first stop and their pizza was phenomenal. A lot of other places we went had some really great looking pies too.
Pacific beach is a must. Just a completely different beach town vibe compared to east coast stuff. We were on our way back to our hotel and decided to stop and grab a few drinks. the uber driver informed us the place we picked was in the middle of "the gayberhood". hillcrest apparently is the lgbtq+ super friendly area. There's an ace hardware owned by a lesbian couple with rainbow stuff everywhere. The brewery had its own beers that were all named with penis related names. My coworker was quite uncomfortable when we first got there, but he warmed up to it.
Old Town was super touristy but still neat. seeing so many restaurants with grandmas hand rolling tortillas was neat.
Petco is the best ballpark Ive ever been to. It was awesome.
overall, it was a great trip.

I’m a horrible flyer but I just landed in London and saw that there’s a Back to the Future musical playing right near my hotel. It’s like my reward for braving that flight.
