Been trying so hard ti break that habit. i find that I am more alert if I just get up right away, instead of snoozing for 30 mins.

Irrational pet peeve related: snooze button.

I don't get it. Just set your alarm for x time + minutes you hit snooze for and get the hell up.

I'm not sure if it's a guilty pleasure or irrational pleasure, but getting the USB plug the right way the first time.... so good.

for real. if you don't HAVE to wake up when the alarm goes off, why are you setting the alarm for that time?

my roommate in college literally hit it 12 times one morning.

It's a mental thing I think for most people. Even if they set the alarm for the time they had to get up, they would still hit snooze anyways.

I'm thankful I have a pretty good internal alarm clock so I normally just wake up about 5 minutes or so before I really need to. My wife on the other hand, is a snooze button hitter.

Avril Lavigne music. I also used to have a Lindsay Lohan poster circa Means Girls that I secretly still stand by.
And cracktella (aka nutella).

When I was in college I used my boom box as my alarm. I had the opening track of the Jurassic Park OST cued, which starts with three loud, deep BOOMS. First day I did it, it scared me so bad that I quickly learned to recognize the sound of the thing turning on and I'd jump up and run across my room to turn the thing back off before the first BOOM.

I fell down a YouTube hole and found my latest guilty pleasure....MRE reviews. Not your regular old MRE's, but ones from the 40's and 50's. Somehow these military rations survived long enough for some dude to review them on the Internet...the guy actually eats some of them, and his reactions are fantastic. He reviews military and survival ration from the 60's 70's 80's up to present day.....it's oddly fascinating.

Well, it's sealed, so what's worse: leaving that beast in the jar where it's safely contained or cracking that seal and unleashing it on the world?

I'd trade it for a box of unopened Mario Buns if you know a guy.

Sounds like a stripper name at a sketchy bar.
