Would be a better use for it than what it's currently doing.

All I know is that if I'm city officials, I'd laugh if/when Nutting comes to ask for public funding to renovate, build a new stadium.

The public voted against PNC Park and they built it anyway. They'll talk a bunch, but not do anything.

I thought Dejan wasn’t running the business? In any event, he will sink it if it means righting the wrong going on at PNC Park. He’s like the “it’s still real to me, dammit” wrestling fan.

I'm surprised DK or someone hasn't run an "article" saying that before the trade deadline Nutting knew about the investigation into Vazquez so he gave the mandate not to trade him knowing he would get out of that contract and any future contracts a trade would have created if the investigation turned out the way it was going.

In related news, Uncle Ray and Tom Prince have been fired.

At least that means Prince has no chance of being manager.

I thought I read that the new manager would get to choose his own staff. Which means everyone was already fired for all intents and purposes

Greg Brown is unsurprisingly full in on Wehner getting the job. "He's a good baseball man, he's got a rapport with the city...."

Well i'm sold.

I’d endorse a AI supercomputer running advanced sabremetrics for the next Bucco manager.

Well he was more of a backup leadoff man so that set him up to leadoff the second inning

Greg Brown is the biggest puppet for the Pirates on the media today. I absolutely despise when he's spouting his Pirates bible verses on The Fan.

It's even worse when they're on a winning streak and he starts begging/shaming fans for not coming out to see them.

I used to really like Brownie and was super pumped for him when the Pirates finally made the playoffs, but he's become such a stooge for management and ownership that I just can't take him anymore. His baffling contention on Dickless and Mulzy last year that the Pirates **** ass roster was as good as the Yankees or Dodgers or whoever and they just had bad luck was the last straw for me.

That's when he lost me and I turned on him for good. He said something about if you go up and down the lineup they're right there with the Dodgers. This was when LA was like 40 games over .500

I have to say that was largely my turning point too. This dude can't believe the stuff he says and feels good about it. I just refuse that.
