Clemson offensive co-coordinator Jeff Scott heavily rumored to be the next head coach of USF. He's a tremendous recruiter, particularly in Florida.

Wasn't Chad Morris also a genius Clemson OC, and an excellent recruiter?

I would prefer a 6 team playoff with the top 2 teams receiving a bye, and teams would be selected by a playoff committee like how things are currently done. No automatic bids.

**** that. Give me automatic bids or give me death. Committees can go suck a fatty. You want in the playoffs? Well then win your **** conference. Otherwise, just do away with the conference championship games because they don't mean a damn thing.

...and Auburn also has Kevin Steele as Defensive Coordinator, another one of Dabo's minions.

I look forward to hearing the endless debates about which 2 and 3 loss teams are getting screwed out of the playoff. It's like the Bubble watch in March Madness, none of those teams are going past the second round but we have to find something to complain about.

Happy Bowl season!

They kick off at 2 this afternoon with the Bahamas Bowl, UB vs Charlotte. If you gotta go to some crummy bowl, I think you could do worse than going to the Bahamas..... you could be going to Frisco, TX for the second game of the day, Utah State vs Kent State, Higher education partner of your Pittsburgh Penguins.

I'll probably have the first one on as background noise. Otherwise no real interest.

Tomorrow, bowls all day- only interesting ones (relatively) IMO are SMU/FAU in the Boca Bowl and Boise/UW in the Vegas bowl.
