Pretty easy for the selection committee this year.

LSU
OSU
Clemson
OU

1&2 are the only debate.

Justin Fields (and his immediate eligibility) might be the most American story of 2019 becuase his story touches on all sorts of the hot topics of 2019:

-Fields is a good passer and yet another black guy that makes the stereotypes of black QBs even more meaningless.
-Preferential treatment for individuals with with talent (Fields)
-Preferential treatment for organizations with questionable ethics but substantial power (Ohio State)
-Lack of transparency from a governing body (NCAA never really said why he was eligible)
-Accusations of the use of a racial insult from that Georgia baseball player. I’m not going to sit here and say that it is ok for dudes in the stands to spout racist stuff to players, but if fans saying inappropriate stuff to players is the basis of immediate eligibility, then I’m guessing everyone in FBS football would be eligible for immediate transfers.

I hate using buzzwords Fields’ story really sums up crony capitalism and privilege (with a sprinkle of race) in America in 2019.

Also, i think tOSU is going to win it all.

Venables will have three weeks to scheme for this game. Scary.

Why? Clemson’s schedule was an absolute joke this year.

The "O" stands for opinion. Schedule doesn't have anything to do with how good a team is. It'll play out on the field. But I think they have the best defense in the CFP.

Yes I know IMO stands for in my opinion. When someone asks a question like “why?” It’s for the person to explain their opinion.

Clemson struggled against North Carolina and Texas A&M. Probably should have lost the North Carolina game.

And then after they almost lost to UNC in september, they obliterated the rest of their schedule.

The teams they faced had a 51-45 combined record. I would hope they would demolish them.

I couldn’t find any good ooc wins for the top big 10 teams. So per usual, could be tough to compare Clemson to Ohio state by sos.

Call me naive, but I’ll take the qb who is what 28-0 right now?

Clemson didn't struggle against A&M, they had their second and third string defense in for A&Ms last TD. A&M was ranked at the time too.

Their offense definitely struggled. A&M obviously should not have been ranked.

You could play the same game with LSU vs Texas but again, irrelevant to how teams are playing right now

Groupthink. They struggled against unc and then got moved down the rankings, osu and LSU stayed unbeaten and thus ranked higher than Clemson. Nobody has been able to stay on the field with them Since September. I think they’re the favorites, but I think the top three are all close.

Chad Morris hired to be the next OC of Auburn. Probably makes moving away from the "Palace of Excess" (https://www.zillow.com/homedetails/3487 ... 2048_zpid/ ) a little less painful. :)

Clemson offensive co-coordinator Jeff Scott heavily rumored to be the next head coach of USF. He's a tremendous recruiter, particularly in Florida.
