Who is this **** cream donkey playing QB...? We're gonna have more QBs used than wins...this guy sucks the world's biggest hammer...
Their starting QB and RB asked not to play anymore this season to preserve their redshirt eligibility. The interim coach’s response:
"Am I disappointed by it? Incredibly. Do I understand it? I guess so. I guess that's the way the world is now," Campanile said after Rutgers lost 48-7. "I think that this is a game about your team, you know, and it's about sacrificing personal accomplishment for the success of the team. But that's the world they live in, and they have got a lot of people telling them, you know, 'Worry about you, worry about you.' I get it."
I certainly know which coach I wouldn’t want to play for next season...

I agree with the coach’s statement but moreso from their teammates’ perspective. Houston is dealing with the same thing with their starting QB. Now imagine you’re a senior and your best player or best two players decided to sit out the rest of your final season because the team record sucks. Definitely wouldn’t sit well with me. But the rules allow it so...

Imagine having that much time on your hands...that you can write a letter of shame about some 19 year old's haircut who you've never met and never will meet...

I see the things my mother posts on FB about things that bother her and nothing much really surprises me anymore. I hope I don't have this kind of free time on my hands when I retire.

Is this the part where we bash an entire base for the few that are wrong?

Yep, every fan base has their crazies. And no I’m not Dave. But hilarious how Maryland and Pitt fans are in replies trying to use this to help their paltry recruiting. Not the time or place for that, lil bro’s.

Is Columbia allowed back under a different name now?

There's still a large percentage of fans here that want things done "the Paterno way..." In fact there were many "Paterno would be rolling in his grave" comments when people saw the lawn boyz chain. Go f*ck yourself. You're old, and your opinions don't matter anymore.

So this bit of cancel culture is ok? Pulling all of Dave's old tweets (letters to the editor) to publicly shame him?

He just sent a football player a letter telling him to clean up his dread, as in very recently. This is a different situation than, say, someone quote-tweeting a show with the N word like 12 years ago and having it crop back up. The old letters to the editor are supplementing current knowledge that this guy is, in fact,a f**king asshat.

He is, that's not an argument.
The argument is lets dig through the archive to find all the mean things he's ever said, and make the contents of a private letter very public.

The ones that wrote that letter doubled down on dumb.

https://www.espn.com/college-football/s ... dreadlocks
The Tribune-Democrat, a newspaper in Johnstown, spoke with Petersen about the letter and how it has spread far and wide on the internet. Petersen said he did not intend for the letter to have a racist message.

"Was not the intent at all," Petersen told the Tribune-Democrat. "I would just like to see the coaches get the guys cleaned up and not looking like Florida State and Miami guys."

Petersen added that his letter "wasn't threatening or anything. I was just disgruntled about some of the hairdos that we're seeing. You think of Penn State as a bunch of clean-cut guys. And you do see so many who are clean cut. But the tattoos and the hair -- there are a lot of guys with hair coming down their backs and it just looks awful. And it's the same for the NFL and NBA, too."

Where would you put the over/under on percent chance he has a Trump flag somewhere at or near his house? I'd say 74% or so.
