Jerald Hawkins traded to the Buccaneers for a seventh round pick in 2021. <shrugs>

Diontae Sanders was claimed by the Broncos as well <double shrug>

Your feeling is indigestion. And you're wrong.

I mean, you're probably right about the indigestion. But Mr. Interceptionberger is a shell of his old self. Not wishing it on him, just not seeing a good year.

I think people said that last year, and he basically had his best year ever. I'm okay with his picks because we know he'll make up for them. Gotta take chances in this league.

See I feel last year was not a good year for him. Sure, statistically it may have been his best year, but bad Ben was REAAAAALY bad Ben.
He feels he needs to make up for all his mistakes with one throw, which gets him into trouble. Can't afford to have too many bad Bens when you're missing the playoffs by one game.

Was in Browns country the past couple days. Just to wipe the smirks off their faces again will be worth it.

i have no data (% of ints that occured when targeting specific wr) to support this but i feel like without AB, he will be less inclined to force the ball in to poor coverage

I feel like Ben's overthrow isn't going to get any better this year. Prepare to see a lot of balls sailing two yards above receivers.

The only question mark I have coming out of preseason is the TE position. I don’t recall seeing much out of it, and in the third game, Vance dropped at least one ball, and fumbled another.

They put a waiver claim on Ricky Seals-Jones but the Browns were higher in the pecking order. I’m surprised they haven’t made another move yet.

Amusingly that's a place I might take Switzer seriously. As a last resort tight end in short yardage situations.

I saw this from Dulac, which I assume means we’re still working on acquiring another TE:

If the "old self" you are referring to is the game manager who went 15 for 27 and 212 yards per game, then I would agree with you.

Ben had the most attempts, completions, yards, TDs, and one of the best comp% of his career last year. And he played all 16 games for the first time in a while. (Granted, he only played 15 games in '17 because he and a lot of the other starters were scratched in week 17)
