Whisenhunt and Tomlin were never employed by the Steelers at the same time. KW left for ARI before Tomlin was hired.
my memory is foggy but I think whisenhunt was a frontrunner for the job when tomlin was hired

He was, as was russ Grimm

Who by the way was in the same local watering hole as mac last weekend. He has lost his leg due to diabetes and is a rather heavy drinker.
